First time ever boarding a family friend in a kennel and it was a great experience. Fabian Kennel is out on the west end of Galveston. After going down the dirt road the the main office I was greeted by the sight of majestic peacocks roaming the grounds like pigeons. The 2 gentlemen who helped me and my friend were very friendly and patience. The dog being dropped off was my friends, but I was there for moral support since this was her first time leaving her best friend for a week. We arrived a little late but they still took the time to show us the kennel and ease my friends mind. When I picked Sandie up she was happy and seemed to be in great spirits having had made new friends in her week long «doggie spa» visit. I will recommend Fabian Kennel to anyone in need of boarding a pet!

For the best boarding rate on the island ($ 15/​night!), Ms. Fabian took superb care of our poodle, Doodle, while we were away for a weekend. The kennel is located on the far west side of the island with an open yard full of peacocks out front and a closed yard for the dogs in the back. Each «room» has a doggy door for them to go outside in an area that is individually fenced off. This was the no-​frills kind of place we were looking for! If you’re just looking for a kind eye and experienced hand to sit your fur babies, this is the place to take them. She will be the first person we call the next time Doodle can’t travel with us.
Don’t forget to bring the dog food and immunization records!
