This place has the most amazing and fun staff I have met at an ice cream store. And the ice cream is awesome. I love the tonight dough.

Our group of 4 ladies stopped in here for a treat. The 3 smiling young people working today were ever so friendly and helpful. We sampled different flavors and chatted with the staff before ordering. After making selections we continued good conversation about where we were from, where they were from, what its like to work on the sea wall with the beach as their view… It was an all round pleasant experience. To top it off the ice cream was wonderful.

I’ve never been to a «scoop shop» and was happy to discover my new favorite flavor: Seven Layer Bar! Coconut ice cream with all kinds of goodies mixed in. It was amazing and this shop was great. Definitely would return!

I love Ben & Jerry’s ice cream from the grocery store but we had just a meh to a-ok experience at this location. We were driving down the Seawall after dinner and I spotted a Ben & Jerry’s store. Never having been to one before I was excited to visit. I ordered a single scoop of some coconut ice cream in a cone. My single scoop was was very soft. I had to eat it quickly… like in 3 minutes because it was dripping from being so soft. I was Seriously bummed!!! Plus they ran out of napkins. They gave me a bathroom type paper towel when I insisted on something because my ice cream was dripping. Hubby ordered a single scoop in a container of dark cherry with chocolate pieces. His container was packed and looked like three scoops were in it. Plus his ice cream was colder and firmer like ice cream should be. Don’t know why such a difference in size for one scoop. Anyway I would not go back because of the unpredictable size and lack of proper coldness. Plus the price was high. They do have parking on the side. I think I’ll just buy Ben & Jerry’s at the grocery store. Unilocal Review #337

Went in for a milkshake. Ordered a cookies and cream shake. Ended up with a glass of milk with Oreo cookies in it for $ 8. Head to Sonic down the street for the milkshake — cheaper and better!

Very over priced. Paid about $ 5 for 1 scoop of chocolate in a cone. They were also out of a lot of flavors of ice cream. It is a small shop that seems to attract large numbers. Expect a little bit of a wait and hope that they have the flavor you want by the time you make it to the line. They also completely skipped me when I was supposed to make my order. Took the person in front of me and then went right on to the one behind me.

Not only do they make fabulous ice cream and ice cream cakes, they were incredibly enthusiastic yesterday on their Free Cone Day! You’d expect a degree of impatience after hours of giving away free cones to screaming kids but the people back there were encouraging us to sample everything! But I didn’t, and I eventually went with the Mango Mango, which my kid refused leaving me to finish it. On days like yesterday, they could really use some more tables inside and out, but we walked along the Seawall directly across the street and made a nice day of it.

The young boy who helped me, wearing a red beanie, was very friendly and helped me by letting me sample his favorites and then ones I thought would be good. He was very nice and didn’t care that I was indecisive which is rare to find these days! Ice cream was delicious, I got the coffee flavor :)

So is Galveston some type of island for rude and restless teenagers who decide to take part time jobs serving the public? Ben & Jerry’s is basically the second place I went to in Galveston where I had this teenager helping me who acted entitled and snide. She wasn’t friendly at all and was very short with me. I didn’t feel like a valued customer. Plus one scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone was $ 6! And I know you’re not supposed to start a sentence with and, but annnnnnd… the cone was stale as can be! I couldn’t even eat all of the cone because it was just nasty. I just scooped the ice cream out of it. No more Ben & Jerry’s for me!

What can you say bad about Ben and jerrys ice cream? Nothing… that’s what… As expected the ice cream was great. The staff there at the time was fantastic. my wife and I were talking about some SNL skit involving Christopher Walken when out of the blue the guy behind the counter did this FANTASTIC Christopher Walken impersonation. we had a great laugh about it and suggested he take people’s orders using his impersonation skills. Good place, great location.

Great ice cream. A little high but definitely delicious. The staff was friendly and offered samples. They were apologetic because they were waiting on a delivery so didn’t have all the flavors but the caramel one we got was what we wanted anyway so it was all good.

It’s at a great location on the seawall, but it’s a little pricey when compared to the average cone. B&J is always good, and if you’re willing to shell out the cash for some refreshment while at the beach then go for it.

The ice-cream, of course, was delicious and it’s conveniently located, but the service was really lacking. They don’t really acknowledge you when you enter the shop and my friend and I noticed they offer some customers a sample to try, but not all. It’s bizarre. Treat all of the customers similarly and fairly, not whomever you choose to bestow your graces upon. Fun place to stop by after a day at the beach, but the customer service is unappealing.

Yuummy place to stop, not super cheap but the service is great, great location, I think no seating? Not 100% sure but the service makes up for it! Great place to stop for a quick treat!

This store is conveniently located on the seawall and has it’s own small parking lot which is a plus since parking along the wall cost. That’s pretty much the only plus side to this store. The outside has some serious wear and tear which is expected for a seaside place, but it almost looks abandoned. Despite the 5 workers behind the counter, the inside was dirty. Tables and floors were in serious need of cleaning. The ice cream itself was good, but that’s a credit to Ben & Jerry’s.

Brought my wife and three kids here on a Monday. The staff didn’t seem to care we were there. Spent $ 36 for 5 people to get one scoop each in a bowl. Way overpriced and no value. The ice cream was tasty but not $ 36 tasty. The inside was not clean, and the out side needs severe cleaning and grooming. Looks like there is no pride invested in this place. I suggest getting a desert to share at a restaurant you will get more value.

I love me some ice cream! I try not to eat it too often but when I do I want the good stuff! I always have known Ben and Jerry’s to be consistent whether I buy the pints at the grocery store or visit one of their shops. We got some sundaes and went all out. It was delicious! Everything was fresh, the hot fudge and caramel were warm, and the guys behind the counter were nice and accommodating.

It seems where ever we go, my husband and I also seem to find the local ice cream place. Here in Galveston, we found Ben & Jerry’s. It’s a small little store, with just a few tables, and two displays with about 10 flavors each. After a quick review of flavors, we sat and enjoyed our cones, it’s thick, rich, creamy ice cream and always good!

Right off the seawall, this Ben & Jerry’s is a great place to stop for a quick ice cream craving. Over the weekend, my boyfriend and I went to Galveston for Oni-Con. We had seen this B&J on the way to the Convention Center and thought it’d be great to grab some after. Of course, who can resist the ice cream when it’s calling? The shop is on the small side, with only four or five table(2 person sized) to sit at, and almost all of them were full when we walked in. It was clean, and didn’t smell nasty or anything. There was a wide variety of flavors, as always! I tried one of their new smoothie type of drinks. A Strawberry Lemonade, which I believe was the Lemonade Sorbet, strawberries, and something else. It was actually really good. The bf got a small of the Mango Sorbet. That was yum-yum-ie! And the service was great. There were at least three different people that asked us if we needed help or if we had decided what we wanted yet, it was welcoming. I definitely wouldn’t mind going here again the next time I visit G-town!
