A & A Tire Shop

I arrived at this A&A Tire Shop on Stewart Road in Galveston approximately three weeks ago with a bent rim and a blown tire.
Instead of fixing the rim, as most shops would do, I was forced to purchase a new rim.
They also informed me that they could not return the tire pressure sensor to me, or even place the tire pressure sensor back on the newly purchased rim that they forced me to buy. This part is worth $ 130.00 that seems to have been stolen from my car by this tire shop now, because they refused to give it back to me.
After all of this, I learned that I was sold a bad used tire that blew out only one week later. Instead of going back to deal with this shady company, I just purchased a new tire at Walmart.
Total wasted purchase was $ 80.00, plus the stolen tire pressure sensor worth $ 130.00 = $ 210.00.
Please be cautious of places like this.

We arrived at this shop by happenstance, as it just happened to pop up in google. The gentleman had our tire off and plugged and back on in ten minutes. He was personable and polite, and they even let my kiddo use their restroom. This place beats the big chain shops by a lot. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Always have a good experience here. If you bring the oil and filter, oil change is only $ 15. Their general mechanic can do a variety of repairs for a low cost. Typically you bring the part, he does the labor.

These guys always do a great job. Fast, friendly service, reasonable prices.
Ever since hurricane Ike it seems as if we’ve had a tire problem at least once a month. I always take my tires here to get them repaired.
