Always friendly, helpful, and super knowledgeable. Good selection of hardware. This is my first stop if I need something for the ranch.
Recently had a big pre Superbowl BBQ with friends and family bringing their pets. We called it the Puppy Bowl. The Ace Hardware staff helped me get all the hardware to make a mini football field for puppies. Awesome!

Terrible for service members just to let you know. Been in multiple times to see if they would get military discount. That’s ridiculous that they wouldn’t get it. I do not recommend coming here id spend a few more minutes to drive to Lowes on Lower Sac road or Home Depot off Harney Road. At least they have military discount.

This is a fun store! Almost more fun then perusing Orchard Supply! They had a great sale over Fourth of July. I ordered a couple items and the closest store that had them was the Galt Ace. They have a whole lot of items and a little bit of everything.
One issue… this is not a company owned store. It is a franchise. So if you wish to return an item that you purchased at the ace online site there could be an issue. But with their helpful and friendly employees we got it solved.
I just wish the store was closer because I’d like to spend more time shopping there.

This place is great! You are greeted immediately upon entering and they are quick to help you find whatever it is you need. It is seriously a full service hardware store. I know in Galt we dont have a lot of choices but this is definitely my new go to place. They also have good sales a lot on gardening stuff.

The dark hair cashier was extremely rude today, as if we were bothering her. She threw my things in a bag and I had to ask her for a bag. Its customers who pay her monthly pay check. I drove 20 miles to go there. Never again. No customer service at all.

Love small town service! As soon as we enter every employee is ready to be of service! We started off just browsing to kill time until we have to attend an appointment. We then found ourselves buying items! As my husband said out loud that we a should purchase bug spray for my greenhouse, without hesitation an employee said to us (before we could even ask) «that will be on aisle 9 sir!» loved it!

Some staff are rude, they degrade others in front of customers, management stands around and degrades the employees in front of customers. I was appalled at how that store is run. I live in the town and won’t go there because of the employees.

I shop at this Ace several times a year. I often have questions and usually bring a photo from my digital camera to show them the problem.
All the people have been friendly. If they could not help me, they found someone who could.

Galt Ace is an ace like any other. If you’re me, the employees ignore you because you’re a minority, and spend their time meandering around the store in some trivial pursuit of items that probably do not exist. They do have a fine selection of items you’d normally find at a hardware store.
But here’s the thing that separates the Galt Ace from all others. I was looking for something down an isle, when I overheard an employee talking to a customer. I didn’t catch the entire conversation, but the employee, an older Caucasian man, said «…just like those little China men.» The normal reaction when using racial slurs is to look around to see if any minorities are present, which this man did, only to see me staring back at them. The man then walked away.
What a town!
