Quick service. Courteous staff we’ve ate there multiple times over the years and have been pleased. If you are in the area we recommend you stop by.

This place is closed. It didn’t last long. If you want good diner food, go a few miles down the road to the harbor diner in egg harbor city.

Love the Star DIner. Generally have good specials. The waitresses always make me feel at home. If you’re looking for good hot food, value and cleanliness… look no further than the Star.

After the management change, the food has been consistent and the service has significantly improved. Plus the place is cleaner! Good job!

This place is doing better.
I’ve been through here a few times and they are definitely improving. My first visit was during their opening weekend and things were a bit shaky (IE: stale bread, poor service, cold food) but as they’ve grown accustom to running their business things have definitely picked up. Last time I was there I was pleased with my meal. I did notice that the bread still seemed a bit old and would only suggest that they stop being cheap with their bread and use some fresh stuff. Little things like that do make a difference.
Nice wait staff and overall food tastes good. I frequent the place and will continue to do so due to its connivence and fair pricing.

My Family and I (4 people) went to Star Diner this am for brunch. Food was good but service really killed the whole experience. The waitress forgot to bring my sister’s bacon with her eggs, forgot the bring the wheat toasts and forgot to bring my mom’s drink. Forgetting all the foods we ordered was acceptable because we are not mean people. When she rushed us through our meal, that really upsetted everyone. She brought us the check when the food came. She came by every 3 mins to clean our plates and asked us if we needed to doggy bag while we were all eating. We thought she was being a hard working employee because her boss was present? We didn’t think anything of it. The last draw was when she came by again and said to my mother, «are you going to eat the french toasts ALL DAY !!! „She then said,“ you guys are my last table.» That was the moment when I decided I had to write this review on Unilocal.She could have told us nicely and aske dus to pay first instead of rushing us through the whole meal. I will go back to eat but will never sit in her area again. What a terrible experience this am.

The food was good and the prices were comparable to that of the former diner. I really liked the friendly and helpful staff. I’m glad the place changed management. The last guy who owned the place used to scowl at people regardless of what time of day. The Star Diner left a positive impression on me and my family; we will be back again.
