I may be a little late coming into the frozen yogurt fad, but I am a true convert now! I’m still working through my neighborhood choices before I find my favorite, but Yogurt Mountain impressed me, hands down. After a day of shopping, my mom and I stopped by Kroger on our way back to Tipton County. I saw the yogurt shop and asked whether it would be excessive to stop for a treat. I’m so glad we did, because this place is awesome! There were two people working there, and one person handed us sample cups and rang our orders, while the other worked an endless clean-up loop. Unfortunately, that’s what it takes in a kid-focused, self-serve environment. It makes a difference! The flavors were interesting, and good, like red velvet cake, peanut butter, and cinnamon roll. They also had a couple of non-dairy options, including a really good tropical fruit variety. And the toppings were some of the best I’ve come across. They had a wide selection of the usual nuts, fruits, cookies and candies, plus sauces and whipped cream. This was the largest topping bar I’ve seen. I wish I could come back and try them all!
