Every fixer-​upper is a challenge which requires distinguished creativity and we try not to turn any away, no matter who laid it down. And from the same innovative minds that specialize in finding these rare solutions for unwanted ink-​work, you will most certainly find what you are looking for if that is a freshly unique and custom design to tattoo that blank area of skin you have been dying to get filled in. We have artists that specialize in 3-​D, photo-​realism, portraits, new and traditional color, cover-​ups and especially underwater scenes (as preferred by Owner, Bobby Weschler).

History

Established in 2009.

RAWINK Studio has evolved from a small «one-​artist shop», subletting space from a custom motorcycle business, to a «one-​stop-​shop» for a unique tattoo that comes from your own raw dreams, ideas and creativity to go with a fresh experience with a studio of artists that genuinely care and respect everyone the same weather its your first/​only tattoo, a memorial for a loved one, or just another visit towards finishing a large multi-​session piece. And now, the only one of its kind, RAWINK Studio is the fist Completely Green Tattoo Studio in the US, saving the planet 56 meteric tons of waste every year using 100% alternate sources of energy, in-​house applications of recycling and other practices including our own line of vegan, all-​natural inks to help ensure a «colorful» future.

They were so welcoming and friendly! Chriz is an amazing artist. Listened to everything I wanted and did it the same day. Prices were totally reasonable. I’d recommend this place a thousand times! I will be back for my next tattoo! GO HERE!

The staff is always friendly and courteous, Eric has been a family friend since my sister was in middle school it’s amazing how time goes on and we all pick up a new trades! He’s a very very talented artist lettering, pictures, freehand he’s got a lot of talent very creative or if you bring him something he can do it or freestyle off of it! He’s my go to for ink Raw Ink has been around for about six years and I’m sure they’re not going anywhere anytime soon, all of the staff has different styles and great portfolios I wouldn’t be afraid to let any of them put any ink on anybody I know I will refer them or the establishment to everybody looking for any type of ink! Come in and talk, get to meet the fam you won’t be disappointed! The establishment is very clean always tidy and the receptionist is on point! No worries about any kind of issues here, all are top notch and great at what they do

Raw Ink Studio.
I have been going to raw ink studio since 2009 when they have not moved to their new location. I have been very happy with my service back when and now. I am currently in the process of working with Bobby to get a piece I’ve wanted. He works hand in hand with what I am going for and also draws out the design for you. He is honestly a master at his trade, I would highly recommend him. As for the other artists, I have seen all of their work and I would also trust them as well.
As for the building itself, It is very clean. The bathroom is always clean as a whistle (a must). There is also a really cool art gallery within the building. There have been consistent live events there as well which are really cool if you are local.
Overall, I would highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for any tattoo, coverup, piercing. Etc.

Have yet to be inked here but I accompanied a friend here and everyone is very personable and professional. Even in the midst of all the chaos of moving they maintain a very professional spirit and friendly spirit. I am so satisfied that I will be getting my next tattoo here. :)

This is something I’ve been meaning to write for a very long time. A few years back my best friend and I were looking to get matching tattoos. We finally decided on a design and I had heard great things about Raw Ink and Bobby so I we went to go check it out. We spoke to Bobby, got a quote and set up our appointment. I couldn’t have been more excited. Little did I know things were about to go so wrong.
A few weeks later my friend and I showed up for our appointments which were scheduled to start at 3pm. When we arrived we were told that Bobby wasn’t in yet and we were ushered to the waiting area. After waiting a total of 4 hours we were finally brought into the studio by an assistant at 7pm. When Bobby finally walked in he had cuts all over his face and was carrying multiple boxes of band-​aids. The only explanation we received for his lateness was «Sorry, there was a band-​aid problem.»
After getting his «band-​aid» issue under control we were finally ready to start. He laid the stencil down on my best friend and it immediately looks wrong. I guess this should have been the first sign that we should have got up and left but for some reason we decided to stay. After all was said and done we both had hideous tattoos that looked nothing like what we asked for. (by the way if you can’t tell from the photo I don’t blame you its suppose to be a diamond)
We went back the next day and complained but he was incredibly unprofessional about the matter. We later heard from friends that he had gotten into using hard drugs around the time that we had our work done and things started adding up. I advise everyone to stay as far away from this shop as possible.

I have gotten 4 out of my 6 tattoos at Raw Ink and have gotten multiple piercings here as well. Bobby did a large coverup piece on my chest after a bad motorcycle accident and I could not be happier with it. My other tattoos were done by Tall Ryan but unfortuntly everyone left except Bobby. My piercings were done by little Ryan when he was still there. Everything is always kept very clean and sterile and the staff is extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend getting ink from Bobby

Owner is nice enough but nobody else seems to know or care about anything.
This place is an exercise in frustration. I called them to ask if they could remove the jewelry I mistakenly put in my septum piercing and couldn’t get out. I mentioned that I had put in the wrong type of stud (meant for a lip piercing) and couldn’t get a hold of it to remove it. They said no problem and to come in whenever.
When I came in, the owner took a look at it and said he thought it was just the normal jewelry and I would have to come back when the piercer was in on Friday.
So I come back and he wasn’t there, he was off that day. I later make a call to schedule an appointment, I come in, put a $ 10 deposit down (I wanted to get 2 ear piercings after getting the septum jewelry removed), and schedule an appointment for that Friday when I am done with work.
I come in that Friday and he has left for the day! At this point I was so frustrated that I demanded my deposit back (to their credit, the receptionist was very apologetic and did give me my deposit back), and swore never to go there again.
People were nice, but the wait was long and nobody seemed able to figure out what was going on. No consistency. I went about five times and never got service. I was ready and willing to spend money on the removal and new piercings, but they were just very inept at scheduling.
They might be better when it comes to tattoos, but this is based off of my experience.

Bobby is GREAT!!! He helped me make my existing tattoo a work of art! I’ve gotten several more and he is continuing to do more work on my back and arm. I can’t wait to see it finished. Love the place, it’s clean and friendly! Highly recommend going to Raw Ink for any tattoos you might be thinking of getting!

My fiancé and I got matching tattoos and the artist, Matt was phenomenal. We didn’t have an appointment yet he still was able to fit us in. I will definitely go back for more tattoos. I highly recommend raw ink. The staff is very professional.

Had a really great experience at this place.
I stopped in in June to have a consultation and schedule an appointment, and Bobby was really helpful and helped me piece together my vision.
When I finally came in to have my appointment, I ended up having to wait for some time because an earlier appointment ran over, but it was definitely worth the wait, and everyone on staff was extremely helpful and nice. Plus, the waiting room was really sick, and the ambiance was nice.
Bobby is really meticulous and planned out my tattoo really nicely, and he really did some amazing work, best I’ve had done. I’d definitely come back, and my friend who came with me is looking to get some work down here now too.
Long story short, great staff, great prices, chill atmosphere!

Me and my boyfriend came here after we got our tongues pierced horribly wrong. Sammi the piercer took great care of us and told us when our tongues were healed to come back and she would give us half off. We came back in she was very friendly and professional our tongues have healed perfectly and I have actually became close friends with Sammi. Unfortunately she does not work at raw ink anymore but she was a great asset to the shop

I’ve gotten a tattoo and two piercings done there. they have amazing customer service, they greet you when you walk in and create a comfortable environment. For my tattoo, i had the pleasure of having Ryan Kaufman tattoo my mothers name on my arm, hes amazing with calligraphy, it not your typical script either. he did an awesome job. i get a complement almost everyday. they now have a new piercer, her name is Sammy «Bee» Bentolila. she was amazing, i was comfortable threw the whole process, she was OCD with sanitation and was very professional. And she gives you candy! in total the place is great, everyone’s nice, clean, professional, you wont be able to find a place where they want to please you more than Raw ink.

My husband and I both got tattoos from Ryan and were more than pleased. My tattoo was of an Iris flower and my husbands work-​in-​progress is a dragon that stretches up his upper arm and spills onto his shoulder. Every tattoo that comes out of that shop is a one-​of-​a-​kind piece of art. They keep the place extremely clean and have recently upgraded to a bigger shop just down the street (literally) from their previous location. I have also seen a lot of work on my friends from Robby Latos who is an AMAZING artist as well. I saw him working on a portrait tattoo as i was getting my tattoo from Ryan and i was FLOORED because it literally looked like he had transferred the photo onto the guys arm. Amazing. They also do a thing called Bar Ink where they pick a local bar and tattoo people in the bar (you have to have an appointment before hand). BEST local shop around and fair prices too! LOVE RAW INK!!!

I’ve never met a more talented artist than Robby Latos. He started working on a piece for me recently and it is turning out to be more amazing than I could have ever hoped for. I am extremely happy with the advice he gave me, the tattoo he custom designed for me and the work he has so far put into it. I can’t wait to go back and have him work on it further. I would recommended him to anyone that is looking for a great tattoo experience.

I’ve gotten 4 tattoos from Bobby, I got my GF a tattoo from the tall Ryan for her birthday and even sent my boss there to get a cover up from Ryan. Great prices and by far the friendliest staff in a tattoo shop. They keep it as clean as an O.R., they are professional and have fair prices… what more do you want? Oh you want more… OK, Bar Ink is when they throw tattoo events with live music, tattooing and maybe a motorcycle show, tattoo contests!
