Quick Fix Windshield Repair

Shawn owns and operates the business. He just repaired my second chip. The first one was several years ago and it still is holding up well. Shawn takes the time to explain how he is going to do the repair and really goes the extra mile. He also offers a guarantee in the event anything goes wrong. Shawn deals with the insurance company so he is paid directly through them and it cost me nothing. He even came out to my house to do the repair in the evening.

I don’t know what happened with the other review, but here’s my 2 cents:
I was getting my car washed at the Flagship behind Montrose Crossing in Rockville. After the wash, i was surprised to see someone else besides the normal «towel-​lers» helping to dry my car. It was Shawn who pointed out a small crack on the driver’s side of my windshield. I remember the day it happened. A @#$@#$% truck on the ICC passed me (where were the darn cops then? ahhh… catching other speeders, I guess?) and I saw the stone literally come up and WHACK. I practically forgot about it, until Shawn pointed it out to me and said he could fix it within 15 min. He called the insurance company and passed the phone to me, all while he was getting right to work. The summary? By the time I got off the phone, he was done and I was happy. I think the reviewer before doesn’t understand that it isn’t meant to be a perfect fix, rather to protect the windshield crack from getting worse and expanding, thereby saving you and the insurance company from having to replace the whole windshield. Overall, Shawn was very respectful and ingenious in working out a deal with Flagship where he helps them out, and he gets to provide a service without taking any extra time out of my life to get something that you KNOW that you need to get fixed, but keep putting off… Thanks Flagship and Shawn! HIGHLY recommended!

Unfortunate experience with this individual. Windshield crack still highly visible after repair. Complained to owner… not very cooperative or professional. He identified that the crack was 60% improved. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Why would I spend any amount of money — large or small — to simply put a bandaid on my windshield? He suggested he’d return and refund my money… which made me very happy … hasn’t happened. Before the phone call ended, I was called a F’ing bitch, after which he hung up on me. I’d recommend a different vendor.
