Peapod by Stop’n Shop

Peapod is a horrible service. Although it is convenient picking up your groceries and not having the shop, the way they packed the groceries cost more of your own time then just going grocery shopping on your own. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve picked up my grocery and had chicken juice leaking all over the bags and all over my car and all over my house. One time my kids even got into it which even worse. Bottles and products are always broken and defective. These people clearly do not know what they’re doing and need to seriously shape up. It’s unfortunate since it is such a good service but poorly implemented. I highly recommend people to stay away from this, or you will probably waste more time than it save you.

Right now, I really hate Peapod.
They never delivered my groceries. I’ve been sitting home all day. Then, they had the gall to say that they tried to deliver, but nobody was home. hey — UPS delivered; FedEx delivered, and the USPS all delivered today. I think these guys just lied to me, and I hate that. You can’t depend on these guys. I’m so mad I could cry. I’ve been waiting for them for 10 hours. Still, no milk.
What upsets me most is that I’m disabled, and it’s VERY HARD for me to go to the grocery store. The idea of Peapod is great, but I can’t stand it when (a) I’ve been sittin’ home all day for these guys, (b) they try to blame it on me, and © I still have to go to the grocery store. That just hurts. Why would I pay someone to do this to me?
Please, Peapod, do us all a favor and go out of business. At least you won’t be setting folks like me up for such disappointments.
