15+ years taking my family’s cleaning to Hershey’s Cleaners and I have never ever had a negative experience, nor have my clothes or linens! I love that Hershey’s Cleaners is a long-​time, family-​owned, proud of their cleaning expertise and exquisite client care business! I will never go anywhere else! I am grateful that there is a large enough family contingent that has, and continues to provide passionate commitment to their business and its exceptional service, ensuring our clothes look fabulous so we can look fabulous!

I switched over to these local cleaning gurus two years ago from my Rockville dry cleaner and I take my sweaty stained suits and shirts to them and they do an excellent job. Owner Mr. Lambert Clagett is the VERY BEST!!! He is charming and very knowledgeable about all things dry cleaning and old town Gaithersburg. Ben is the stalwart viking delivery guy who brightens up everyone’s day with his wit and attention to detail.
I highly recommend them with free and easy parking you are literally IN ‘n OUT.

When you drop off a suit or dress, you want to be confident that your dry cleaner is both competent and conscientious – that there will be as few mistakes as humanly possible, and that if anything does happen they’ll make it right.
Hershey’s fits the bill on both counts. We’ve been bringing our clothes here for years and are always pleased with the warm, prompt service we get. At one point it looked to us like they’d lost my wife’s favorite coat. Though it wasn’t immediately clear whose fault it was (it ultimately turned out to be partially my fault), they didn’t hesitate to make it right: They immediately offered to replace the coat if it didn’t turn up, at a pretty substantial cost. Instead of leaving with a bad taste in my mouth over the misunderstanding, I became a loyal customer.
I’ve worked retail and this is the difference an owner-​operator makes. When we moved further away last year our shopping patterns changed (naturally) to stores more convenient to our new neighborhood, but there was never any serious consideration of changing dry cleaners.

If you’ve never had the pleassure of doing business with a family owned dry cleaner you are truly missing out. This place is the perfect example of how business should be run. Everytime I go in, regardless of who is working there, they recognize me, don’t even have to ask my name, and my shirts and suits are brought out in perfect condition. Unlike those horrible chains that don’t care about you, you don’t have to pre-​pay and they take credit cards. Don’t be fooled into going to the big chain right next door!

There are two dry cleaners side by side in Gaithersburg. This one and a chain store. I was originally lured into the chain by the lower prices (a quarter!)…what a mistake! They ruined my blouse and had nothing to say. :(I went next door to Hershey’s and they have been taking great care of me ever since! I never worry that something will be ruined or lost. In fact, they have my stuff ready to go when they see me pull in! It’s a family run place and EVERYBODY there is great! If I started naming names, I’d have to name them all! Take your business here ~ support a family run store!
