General Automotive Servicenter is a family-​owned and operated Gaithersburg auto repair shop providing auto maintenance and repair in Gaithersburg, Montgomery Village, Germantown, Rockville, and Montgomery County since 1979. We service and repair all years, makes and models of cars and trucks, foreign or domestic.

History

Established in 1979.

General Automotive Servicenter is a family business that first opened its doors in 1979. Originally, we had three owners who were not immediate family members, but we’ve always had our family values that we keep respecting to this day. Eventually, the business has grown into a traditional family business, with Howard Lindsey taking over as owners and bringing in their two sons to assist with the day-​to-​day operations.

General Automotive Servicenter is also a certified Maryland State Inspection station, conducting MD car inspections in Gaithersburg. All of our technicians are ASE-​certified and undergo continuous training.
