God is so good and Erica is His blessing to me! I went in to see her to get my tweeny weeny nappy fro shaped into a style and Erica made it happen. Not only does my natural hair have shape and a style, but my curls are truly popping! She talked to me about products and procedures to keep my hair healthy. I am extremely satisfied with Erica and she is my stylist for my time here in Gaithersburg. A true professional I highly recommend!

Miss Erica definitely made my «Sooooul Glow» and when I walked out of that salon, you couldn’t tell me I wasn’t on the catwalk somewhere (watch out Tyra!)
I came in with a weave that was definitely past its expiration date. I was using it to cover this absolutely repulsive color that I received a few months prior. I’d been guilt tripped into trying this «going natural» thing by some other stylists, and long story short, my hair was a goddamn mess. Erica’s colleague Edward was kind enough to cut out the weave and remove the cornrows for me (bless his heart, because I know that was no fun!). I wasn’t sure what style I wanted because I didn’t know how long my hair was, only that I was definitely getting a hit of the «creamy crack» that day because my ‘kinky coily’ was no joke! I couldn’t do a damn thing with it. I asked her to base me well before my relaxer and let me tell you… that was one of the best relaxers I have ever had. No burning, no stinging, nothing! That, in and of itself, was worth the visit.
After rinsing and washing my hair, she gave me some fantastic news. That dreadful color had somehow morphed into something relatively fabulous. It went from tropical fruit punch to this beautiful black cherry color. Much more my style. I flipped through a few hair magazines and asked her to help me create a curly style. I ended up getting a roller set with the intention of combing the front into a small side pompadour, but as she started plucking them out, the curls just fell really nicely. My beautiful mane was back! WOOOOO!!!
The price was just right and I wasn’t in the salon all day. My visit only took so long (4 hours) because I had a LOT done: weave take-​down, relaxer, deep conditioner, and roller set. It was a very pleasant experience and I will be telling my friends about my new favorite stylist.

Erica is absolutely amazing! She is professional, fast and super reliable. Due to my busy schedule sometimes I think of my hair last minute but she always takes me short notice. Definitely the best hair stylist in Montgomery County in my opinion!
