Steve and his phenomenal team were a dream to work with. Edge delivered with grace and integrity — two qualities that can often be lacking when dealing with wedding vendors. Steve and his team were attentive and responsive to my emails and requests, even when we had to change the amount of floral arrangements needed 2 weeks before the wedding, Steve was absolutely wonderful and kept our last minute wedding stresses under control. I couldnt have asked for a better business to provide us with our arrangements.
Steve and his crew created beautiful, extraordinary and stunning displays for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner reception– words cannot describe the transformation of the space — it was like stepping into a whole other world. Every single one of our guests raved throughout the evening about how beautiful the centerpieces were.
The bridal bouquet was gorgeous and Edge took the care to add a locket with my mother’s photo to the wrap… it was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. It brought tears to my eyes when I finally got to hold the bouquet — walking down the aisle with it made the event even more special. Steve even created a beautiful wreath to surround the memorial candle for my mother and even had it delivered and placed at the table setting where my mom would have sat at during the dinner reception. Every one of the arrangements for our wedding ceremony and reception –from my bridesmaids bouquets to the boutonnieres for the men– were crafted with care and attention to detail.
Accounting and contract was a breeze. Gladys at Edge was always attentive to any changes and always sent an updated contract within 1 business day.
Steve was so wonderful to work with and his calm and cool demeanor kept things stress free. He was always professional, accommodating and worked within our proposed budget, even after we had run into a couple of issues with our table arrangements.
Delivery to the cathedral went very well and the arrangements that Edge provided were stunning.
I cannot say enough about the phenomenal experience we had with Steve and his very talented, very creative team at Edge. The experience that Edge crafted was worth the cost 1000xs over and I would not trust anyone else to deliver as Edge had.

Edge Flowers sure came in the clutch when Valentine’s Day rolled around. They delivered multiple arrangements to us and they were flawless! Will use them and recommend them in any future need of flowers.

Poor customer service! They must be listed on the NYSE with how they treat customers, and even if they were, still unacceptable! I was told that they simply could not help me unless I increased my budget. There was no offering of what they could do at my price point, just a total dismissal. Good luck staying in a business turning folks away without any effort to accommodate them.

In an industry (wedding vendors) which seems to be money driven, Edge Floral was a breath of fresh air! From the very beginning, Steve went above and beyond to make sure my daughter’s wedding arrangements were perfect! Steve and his entire staff were not only interested in staying within our budget but were focused on making the floral arrangements and atmosphere absolutely stunning.
When the bridesmaids dresses came in the WRONG color, we called Steve in a panic. He had us bring in the dress so he could make suggestions and adjustments to the flower arrangements to compliment the new color. He made us feel like our day was his day too.
Steve and his staff will provide a mock table showing a few weeks in advance just to be sure everything is EXACTLY what you want. We were thrilled with his ideas and the sample table was amazing but nothing compared to the final product the day of the wedding. The flowers were delivered on time and the pick up of candles, stands, etc. was handled as part of the services. Edge Floral thinks of everything! Looking at the photos from the wedding, I noticed what an important part the flowers play in every aspect of the wedding. So happy we chose the best — Edge Floral Designs.

My daughter’s wedding took place this summer at the Annapolis Marriott Hotel. Steve and his team did an incredible job with both the indoor and outdoor spaces — Steve really understood our vision and went above and beyond our expectations! The room looked straight out of a fairy tale.

Amazing and incredible. Bill did a fabulous job at my sister’s wedding. The flowers, chuppah, center pieces, bouquets were perfect. My sister did not have a clear vision of what she wanted but Bill was able to elicit and figure out exactly what she wanted. He and his team were a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Edge.

We had Bill as our creative designer. My daughter wanted an «outdoor wedding» inside the Four Seasons. Bill totally got the look, and exceeded our expectations.
Our guests are still commenting on how beautiful the flowers were and how great the room looked.
We were also impressed with the team that did the set-​up, making last minute decisions to further enhance the look.

I don’t think I have ever been more offended in my life by the way an owner would treat a potential client!
My fiancé got quotes and discussed our budget with Steve, all I had to do was send pictures to see what we could get for our budget. I gave him a list of flowers and told him I’m flexible with different ideas as long as they meet the color scheme. I also inquired about buckets of some loose flowers like baby’s breath and roses to do my own center pieces.
When I got the email back from Steve my jaw dropped. He did not stick anywhere near our budget! My list of flowers were ideas. I needed suggestions if what I had was not feasible! He did not provide any alternatives for my over budget list but instead tacked on an EXTRA $ 40 each for bridesmaids bouquets! My Bridal bouquet… for 13 garden roses $ 225!
As far as getting loose flowers in tubs, he said he had no idea what I was talking about?!
I sent an email back how he must have not read the bottom half of my email of being open to suggestions to get the most out of our budget. I dont know why he would tell my fiancé one thing and then blow way past an already determined price?!
I also explained the «tubs» or black buckets of loose flowers where florists tend to keep there flowers in water so they don’t die since he had no idea what I was talking about. At this point I knew he was out to make money and not actually help us for our big day and said we will be going elsewhere. Thanks!
This «man» called my fiancé and left him a voice mail saying how «appalling» I was!!! The only thing appalling are your prices and lack of professionalism! When I sent my email of going else where that should have been the end. STEVE chose to tell on me because he didn’t like what I had to say. He blamed his assistant for the email… I guess that’s why there was no budget? He didn’t stop there as he emailed me back to say he wouldn’t work with us… as if this was a pissing contest I already let you know you were not getting our money.
I wish I had read these reviews before dealing with this awful person!

Our wedding day flowers were just stunning. As we planned our wedding from San Francisco, it was no easy feat trusting a floral vendor to create the kind of look/​feel we envisioned for our wedding. We met with Steve for an initial meeting and a second time to see a sample arrangement, and both times he was pleasant, professional, and accommodating. We did go over our starting budget a bit, but that was a choice we were comfortable with and the end results were worth it. From the bouquets to the low/​tall floral arrangements to the lighting (uplighting, hanging votives), every small detail was covered to create a lasting impression among our guests. Our ceremony space (a sperry tent) felt so airy and ethereal — like a dream! — while our reception ballroom was so timeless and elegant. Thank you Steve & the EDGE team for filling our memories (+ photos!) with your beautiful work.

BRIDES BEWARE! if I could give this business ZERO stars I would. Edge was the absolute downfall of my wedding. I had all my arrangements done by event coordinator, therefore for the day of my wedding I wanted a fresh bouquet, boutonnière, and flower girl baskets, so I ordered through edge. BIG MISTAKE.
First off, I thought I was in good hands because I contacted the owner Steve directly via email. Steve and I had several correspondents via email discussing details and exchanging photographs of what I wanted. I was very clear in all of my emails of what I wanted, as it was really simple. He sent me photos of flower girl baskets, what my bouquet would look like, etc. I expressed to him I wanted, 1 green orchid for my husband (which I sent a photo of), 1 garden rose ivory FLUFFY STYLE ROSES with crystals bouquet (photo included) and 3 plain ivory satin with pearl handle baskets for my flower girls. We were good to go for pick up on my wedding day, and payments were all made prior to my wedding.
The day of my wedding my items arrive to the hotel EVERY SINGLE PIECE WRONG. My husbands orchid was WHITE not green that we discussed and I sent photos of. Didn’t even match my colors. My bouquet was plain cheap ivory roses– NO GARDEN ROSES THAT HE UPCHARGED ME FOR. And my bouquet fell apart all through out the night, roses literally broke off. Then without even asking me or advising me, he sends me 3 PRINTED flower girl baskets with leaf designs which looked awful because the flower girl dresses were so detailed already and he sent me a basket I didn’t even approve.
Now, here is where the company’s customer service really shined!!! I called him immediately after I received the items with only hours before my ceremony upset and angered that literally NOTHING was what we discussed or that I paid for. Then Steve the owner had the nerve to sit on the phone raise his voice at me and argue with me on my wedding day, saying «we never talked before» I’m sorry, but 20+ emails with various discussions and photos of what I exactly wanted wasn’t thorough enough? He was absolutely awful towards me, unapologetic, rude, and aggressive– all on my wedding day. Not only did he not fix anything he defended his faulty work, and attacked me on the phone that «we never spoke before». I have never ever wrote a review on any business, but this I could not let go. What Edge flowers did is a brides nightmare, they charged me for something, didn’t deliver what I requested, and then sat on the phone with me on my wedding day arguing. BRIDES, customers, anyone BEWARE! They will stick you with big price tags, and deliver CHEAP SERVICE. I wouldn’t refer this business even to my worst enemy. They don’t deserve taking care of anyone’s special day, because they don’t care about their clients.

This review is for the customer service regarding an upcoming wedding, not the product, which we think would have been beautiful. My fiancé and I met with Steve and we discussed ideas for packages for us, telling us he would have a quote for us in a week to two weeks. He really listened to what we wanted and kept in line with our price. However, after a few weeks, I did not receive a quote from them. We needed to get the ball rolling to stick to our timeline. I called them to check in; they did not apologize for the delay, but said that the package was created, confirmed our emails and phone number, and said that they would send the package to us later that day. They did not send us anything then. My fiancé called a couple of days later and did not receive an apology either. They reassured her that the package was complete, confirmed the emails and phone number and said it would be sent. It was not. I called them a couple days later, to give them one more chance, and again, same issue. I was assured that the package would be sent to us by 6pm and a staff member would check in with me to ensure that it was delivered. I did get a half-​hearted apology from the staff member this time. There was no call or email, and we decided that they have run out of chances. There are too many other florists in the D.C. area to choose an unreliable one. What would happen if they are unable to respond to a change near the event day? Its a shame, because they seem to have a great product, but I suggest you look elsewhere for a florist for your event!

If I had the opportunity to rate Edge a «10» I would. Steve, the owner, is the best and his team created the most wonderful wedding rehearsal and ceremony/​reception floral arrangements. During the freak winter wonderland that marked my daughter’s ¹⁰⁄₂₉ wedding, Steve and his crew very calmly took the ceremony from outside indoors. Prior to that, he graciously accommodated numerous change requests from the bride and «Moms». My daughter’s bouquet was so beautiful and unique, I’m actually getting Facebook inquiries about the flowers. He’s conscious of expense and works with you to get you what you want for the money you have to spend.

Bill at Edge handled the flowers for our small wedding. He and his team listened to my thoughts and helped me shape them into something that worked — a nice change from some florists who expected me to have an fully planned out vision. Edge did an amazing job on a tight timeline. The venue looked magical and the bouquets and table arrangements were beautiful and just as promised. And their prices were eminently reasonable and beat out the other bids we received. Highly recommend for a bride that wants a florist who will work with her and do a fabulous job.

My soon to be mother in law and I are loving our experience with Edge. They cannot be described as a just a florist… Sure, they do incredible bouquets and boutonnieres… but it’s the event designing that will wow you. Check out their site, see their work. They are thorough when getting an idea of what you want and what you can afford… no up selling here… just good people working to give you the product you want.
