Stopped in for an inspection. Friendly, clear on what was needed, didn’t make me wait. I’ll go back again. That’s that!

These guys are excellent. They fixed my 2005 Saab 92x, which is essentially a Subaru Impreza. Great job, reasonable, professional. Very smart to do business with this shop.

I just moved here from California and needed a Maryland inspection for my moto. I went to a nearby Harley place which tried to rip me off with some ridiculous b.s. That next day they were supposed to give me a quote on what they wanted to rip me off for to make it pass, but I guess the thought of a Triumph soiling their premises was too much so they told me to &(*& off. Without even a recommendation.
I looked and found another place on Unilocal (I didn’t the first time, stupid me), and they were awesome, CycleMax. They knew that other place’s suggestions were complete bogus. We all agreed my brakes needed new pads, so, of course they did them for me at a very, very reasonable price. They even fixed my center-​stand which was precariously hanging; something the other place didn’t seem to note! Sheesh.
Anyhoo, Cyclemax then called DPS and snuck me in late in the day. Pirouz is a total crack-​up and got me out of there in no time flat.
They really stood up to the plate. I’m gonna bring in my truck for a clutch job it needs badly, and I totally recommend them.
Of course, it’s not a high-​fallutin’ showroom with a pot of coffee, waiting room with tea and coffee and a TV to over-​charge you for. It’s just a greasy garage that gets you fixed, fast, competently and at a reasonable cost.

Ive been to more mechanics than I have restaurants and let me tell you I do not need to look any further for a more reliable and trustworthy mechanic. Pirouz and his associates not only do the job right but they follow best practice to make sure that everything is clean, perfect, and looking good. In addition to all that, DPS offers the most reasonable prices around, especially for the quality of work you are receiving. Also if you have any Subaru, I can confidently say that DPS is the most knowledgeable place to take it for diagnostics and repair.

After having trans problems on my vw jetta, and the car not being able to drive well when the temp was cold… the dealers told me it would be already $ 1200 to try to see if they can fix it… but Pirouz and Brian were able to fox it perfectly well in less than half the cost and it drives perfectly well and they have been honest about the work required and exactly what was wrong. Well definitely recommend my friends and family here.

Pirouz and Brian have helped me out of so many sticky situations! I can’t begin to thank them enough. I’ve been a returning customer for 3 years now and whenever something goes wrong in my car, they always help me out with discounts. They give me such deals that I’ve bought them lunch just because I feel like I owe it to them. They do great work and always keep me updated. I’ve recommended many friends to DPS and they’ve all been very pleased. Their prices are very reasonable and you can tell they’re not trying to rip you off like most auto shops.

I have been taking my cars and my bike there since they opened. They always work with me to find a costly solution to repairs. Very knowledgeable and experienced guys and a friendly environment.
They provide the hardest thing to find in the automotive repair industry, honesty. I have finally found a repair shop that I can trust and that is worth its weight in gold.

Piruoz did a great job tuning my car at the time as no one else could even get the fuel and timing fiured out as it was a pretty custom Subaru Hybrid. Living in SoCal right now, I was there was someone as professional and knowledgeable as he was and I still stand by the statement that I think he’s one of the BEST open-​source tuners for Subies (and that’s with all of these pretenders in LA even) in the US!

Last summer, I bought a used car in fantastic shape and needed to get it through Maryland State Inspection. At first, I took it to another shop which lied to me about «necessary» repairs, causing me to walk out. (Note to inspectors: Don’t lie to petite females. They might be automotive students in disguise.) I decided to try my luck and ask some friends where to go for an honest evaluation of my car. I was told to check out DPS, so I gave Pirouz my keys and went to chill in the waiting area with all the car magazines.
Rather than coming back with an estimate of $ 600 in bogus repairs like the other shop, he came back beaming. He told me that my car was in wonderful shape for its age, an excellent purchase, and that it passed with flying colors. I can take that kind of service over lying state inspection shops in the area. He didn’t even tell me that I had a bulb out, the usual inspector’s gimmick to get a little bit of easy money.
