I am so glad that I found Dalia! I have been going to her for 3 – 4 months, and the service she provides can’t be beat! I have gone for both leg, bikini and Brazilian waxing. She does a great job and really takes her time to make sure it comes out great!
If you are looking for spa services at an affordable price — you should go to her! She has a very professional and cleat set-​up, and is very sweet.

Dalia is professional, friendly and definitely has the best prices in in town! I am assuming that is because she works out of her house, which cuts out any overhead cost. Waxing can get pretty expensive at other spas, so this is a great alternative and definitely worth it! Her practice area is in the basement of her home, but it is very tidy and professional in appearance. She uses good products including Dermalogica. I have had my legs and bikini waxed here several times and I can tell that she is well trained because it doesn’t seem to hurt as much as some people who don’t know what they are doing… She is also extremely talkative and friendly. I always have positive experiences and believe that she offers the best service for the price in the area. I would highly recommend Dalia’s Skincare!

My daughter and I have received a wonderful facial experience, from the moment Dalia greets us to the aroma in her spa setting. Everything is clean and the ambiance is terrific. The facial is so relaxing and refreshing! We highly recommend Dalia for your skin care and she also carries a great line of products.

I went to Dalia’s for my first facial ever. I really enjoyed it! Dalia is super sweet. I left with my skin feeling super soft and clean. I felt so fresh and new. Dalia knows what she is doing!
I bought some skin care products (cleanser and moisturizer) and love the results. I love how light the moisturizer is because I hate the oily stuff. The price is reasonable. I highly recommend it and definitely plan on continuing to get my skin care products from Dalia.

I’ve been going to Dalia for several years for waxing and facials and I think she does a fantastic job. Not only is she warm and friendly but she’s a true professional. I’ve bought some skin care products as well and found everything reasonably priced. Payment by credit card for this home-​based business is a plus. Highly recommend!

This woman changed my life! She made my skin supple and softer than a baby’s! I loved the atmosphere and honestly, she told me that my face might release toxins over the next few days, but it never happened! I just had soft, clean, clear skin! Also her products are amazing, inexpensive, and last for a while. I think I might have fallen in love with Dalia’s Skincare. I legit have no complaints. Dalia is a sweetheart too!

I went to Dalias house a few weeks ago for my first brazilian wax. Right when I got there I felt uncomfortable, she took me in late and brought me to the basement which was low lighting and just weird cause it’s a basement…
I told her I didn’t know what I was supposed to do because it was my first time and she just told me to take my pants off and hop up onto the table.
Then I started to get even more uncomfortable… not because the wax itself but because of her.
She doesn’t wear gloves.
She «double dips» the wax stick.
She doesn’t have a clean new sheet for the table like at the doctors, she uses towels… who knows when she cleaned those.
And she answered the phone while she was ripping my hair out!
I only saw her use hand sanitizer… nasty.
I don’t think her personal skills are well and she was very unprofessional. She kept trying to sell me on her facials because I have acne and was not focusing on the reason I came to her in the first place.
And lastly there was hair down there immediately after I left. A few days later my skin was peeling off… never going back to her again.
She seemed like she could be a nice lady but I had to put this on here because these reviews were super deceiving.

So I was interested in getting my first bikini wax (ever!!) before going on vacation later this week. I spent a lot of time looking into different places, reading reviews, articles on what to expect, and how to prepare. Dalia has a lot of positive reviews so I scheduled an appointment with her over the phone. I asked for a bikini wax, and she even double checked to clarify «bikini or brazilian», definitely bikini! So when I arrived, she was on the phone. This isn’t a huge issue for me, but for it being my first time ever being waxed, it really was not welcoming. So her house smells lovely, the basement smells really nice too. It is pretty clean, except for the bed. It looked like the towels had not been changed or washed, and it really was not sturdy at all.
So still on the phone, she tells me to take off everything waist down. So I do, and I sit on the table bare a$$ until she is ready for me (another reason I feel the towels should be changed!!). She asked me a few times if it was my first time, so it was very clear. A lot of reviews said she was comforting and talkative, I did not get that at all. First of all, no gloves. She did not use gloves at all. She had me hold my skin taut, and I was not even offered gloves. Second, she used the same dipstick into a big pot of wax. I would not be surprised if that same stick or wax was used on someone else earlier in the day. She did not use any barrier treatment; I read that powder or a certain cream can be applied to minimize how much the wax sticks to your skin. And on that note, she left me sticky as h*ll! I asked for advice on after care and she said «whatever ointment you have in your cabinet» (keep in mind she used some fragrant drugstore brand lotion on me that did not solve the sticky issue). When I asked for more detail on what to wash with, she responds with «loofa».
The worst part of it all, is that I ended up with a brazilian wax, not a bikini. I knew after the first application of wax that we weren’t in bikini land anymore. She did not once clarify, just slapped the wax on me and pulled away. The worst part is, I was not «trimmed» as «suggested», another reason why she should have stopped! She should have told me, or offered to trim down, at which point I could clarify that I did NOT want a brazilian. So $ 40 later, or $ 42 rather (with a credit card charge) plus tip (I can’t not tip, I was a waitress for 6 years…) I am left hairless, in pain, with no direction on how to take care of it.
I did not feel comfortable or catered to at all, I felt like I was in and out so she could get her next customer. Maybe she was having an off day, but I feel first time customers (especially bikini wax virgins!) should be taken good care of. Especially when you are laying on a rocky table, legs wide open, and someone new spreading hot wax on your bits.

I loved Dalia’s. Had my first Brazilian wax in a few years and it was very relaxing. I went on vacation two days later and a week later I still don’t need to shave. Her prices are great! I will go back to her in the future.

I’m a man and was looking for chest/​back waxing. Dalia was easy to work with and did a great job. Scheduling was easy and her price is very reasonable. Waxing is not a pleasant experience under the best of circumstances, but she knows what she’s doing and did a great job of minimizing the discomfort. I will go to her again.

I went to Dalia for my first Brazilian wax. I was a little skeptical, but after reading the reviews on Unilocal I decided to take the plunge. Dalia was very friendly. She explained the process before, during, and after. I felt super comfortable during the Brazilian wax. The pain wasn’t as bad as I imagined, still painful, just not excruciating. I would definitely recommend Dalia to my friends, family, and other Unilocalers.

I found Dalia on Unilocal and decided to give her a try, so glad that I did! She works in her basement, so it was very quiet and relaxing. I have a moderately hairy back and usually use nair, but I know waxing is better, but didn’t like paying the salon prices. I kept waiting for the tender painful spots, but then she says «ok, you’re all done». I was like WOW, that was the best back waxing ever. It took all of 14 min to do and the best price I ever paid. I highly recommend her for the men out there.

I’ve been a client of hers for several years now, and she never disappoints. She’s nice, cordial, sweet, helpful and, most importantly, highly professional.
She’s set up her beauty studio in the basement of her home, which is spotless, nicely decorated and quite relaxing. I normally go to Dalia for waxing, and one can tell she’s perfected her technique. She’s efficient, she works quickly but thoroughly, she’s both careful and attentive to every detail, and her skincare expertise is hard to top. She knows what she’s doing and she knows how to cater to her clientele based on their preferences and needs. Her pricing is quite competitive as well.

I’ve been going to Dalia for waxing for over a year now. I have very sensitive skin and Dalia has been able to adjust her treatment so I don’t have red patches afterwards. I even had her wax my eyebrows recently, something I’d given up on because my skin was so sensitive. I don’t understand the negative reviews — she’s very warm and kind, keeps my mind off the pain with friendly banter, and she keeps her place spotless. It’s a very pleasant atmosphere.

I had a wax once at Red Door Spa and it was not a great experience so I was hesitant to try Dalia. I’m glad I got over my fear because she’s been my go to person for a wax for some time now. The price is well worth the visit. The business is home based however Dalia is a professional with a warm demeanor. The area is in her basement and is clean. The wax is not pain free however she does a great job to ensure you are comfortable and your visit is quick. I’ve recommended her to a friend who enjoyed her services as well.

Dalia is an absolute gem! This was my second time coming to visit her for a Brazilian and foot reflexology.
The waxing went seamlessly and with minimal amounts of discomfort. Given how thick my hair is and how deep the roots tend to be, I was surprised that everything went smoothly. She joked and talked through the process to help keep my mind off of it. Dalia was diligent, yet tender.
As for the foot reflexology. It was a 30 minute time to relax with peaceful music playing in the background and the lights off.
Her prices are reasonable, she’s in a great location, and definitely worth checking out!

I went to Dalia’s to get my Brazilian wax done. This wasn’t my first time getting it done and all I can say is that Dalia was amazing! She made everything quick and painless as possible compared to other places I’ve been to. Everything feels so smooth now and I absolutely love it!
Right when I saw her, she greeted me warmly and lead me down into her basement where she had all of her spa/​waxing things set up. I admit, I was a little shy at first but she was so sweet and patient with me so I became less nervous and less tense. Her prices are great and she’s a professional. She’s been doing this over 22 years now so she knows what she’s doing.
I’m definitely going to come here again whenever I’m in town to get waxed or maybe even a facial next time.

I was really hoping to like her but no luck. I gave her two stars because 1) it was fairly close to me (so it’s a relative) and 2) it was affordable with the deal.
After reading the reviews, I was prepared for a home based setting. I’ve always struggled with my skin and have been to expensive spas that did not help much but have also been to many facialists and estheticians in less than spa-​like settings that worked wonders, so I wasn’t about to let appearances stop me. I bought a Unilocal deal which was supposed to go for 75 minutes. She shorted me 12 minutes.
First, the steamer kept spewing hot water on my arm. She never asked if the temperature was okay for my face either. To cleanse, she used a little hand held brush and ran circles over my face while telling me my Clarisonic was not good because it caused my skin to produce more oils. She used Dermalogica and seemed surprised when I said I’ve used them before. The face massage was rough and she kept pulling my skin downwards instead of up. (You know when you get a face massage, they gently lift your skin towards your hairline in an upwards motion?)
Next, extractions were clumsy. I even asked her to be thorough because I had an event the following weekend and really needed my skin de-​gunked but she only did my nose. Afterwards, I could still see little blackheads present.
She asked me which brands I used for my régime. I told her I used Boscia cleansing oil… She had no idea what that was. Then I asked her for her recommendations about skin getting accustomed to medicated products and the best way to keep my skin clear. She said she had never heard of skin doing that and I should just stick to Dermalogica because they often changed their formulations so I won’t have that problem. Hm… I may not know about skin care like her 20 something years, but I’m not convinced she really knew what she was saying either.
The experience was really disappointing and I would not use her again, even at the discounted price. Though I tipped her (just because I’m just used to tipping after a service) but felt really bad after I left and saw my skin in natural lighting… it still looked clogged, oily, and dirty.
Later, I bought a $ 28 Olay microderm and peel… and guess what… it did a better job of cleaning. What a waste of my money and time. I wish I could get a refund. My search continues… If anyone has suggestions for an affordable, good facialist, please share!

She did an amazing job! Did a Very professional and thorough Brazilian wax. Also the price cannot be beat, I won’t go anywhere else!

My first time there, this is my review” Great job on brazilian wax! Made it as painless as possible and it was my first time waxing down there too! It took only 10 min and she did a great job! It hurt for only a sec everytime she ripped it off. The advil I took beforehand did nothing (I was very nervous for my first brazilian), but a little pain builds tolerance for next time! I did feel awkward the first time but Dalia having done it many times, made me feel less awkward.“
The next couple times I went there I still feel the same way. Dalia is very personable and she takes care of her clients. She gives me tips each time so it hurts less and she keeps on talking with me each time even though we did not know each so well, so that I focus less on the pain. She does a good job, her brazilian wax leaves me clean for a month with only a couple hairs grown back. As long as I’m in the area, I see no need to go to any other waxer.
