Came here after shopping at H Mart, the bakery smelled not in the good way either so that threw me off. Then I tried some cookies that i dont remember whats its called but it was the round brown one with a red dot. Anyways it has no taste and all in all i would not come back.

While driving to H-Mart, I noticed a bakery in the same shopping center so I decided to stop in to see what they have. The Copacabana Bakery is a family owned south american inspired bakery that sells a variety of baked good — cookies, breads, and whole cakes. The staff was neither friendly or rude. I liked how the baked good were light and not too sweet. My favorite was their palmier cookies, which were 3 for $ 1.00.

Clean, breads are always fresh, owners are very friendly unlike some other bakeries around that have a long face. Definitely recommend the tres leches cake, very delicious.

This place is fun. Its clean and they have a huge selection of different, delicious breads and desserts. Authentic espresso and the pan crema is a fantastic combination. I love coming here after dinner too. The service is great, and its super spacious. You’ll love it too. If you’re in Gaithersburg then you definitely have to come by here at some point. The food is all hand made which i prefer over processed crap. It beats Starbucks… by far. Check it out. I think it’s family owned too which is cool and I totally support.

I love stepping into a bakery because all you smell is fresh baked goodness. I take that back: I love stepping into bakeries because most of the time, you can smell the fresh baked goodness happening even BEFORE you walk in the door. This new little Hispanic bakery couldn’t be at a better location. I was craving a little pan and couldn’t have been happier to have found this place. I left with an assortment for under $ 5, so totally budget friendly: Mexican sweet bread,(vanilla) muffins, and rice bread. I love that it still felt and tasted like it was just baked(plus the heat emanating from the back kitchen suggested there was still baking going on even though it was late afternoon), not overly sweet and preservative-tasting. *Clean and spacious *Breads, cakes, and(hot and cold) beverages only. *$ 5 minimum for credit cards
