Since 2002, Astick Driving School in Gaithersburg, Maryland, has been teaching the 36-​hour driver education program. This is a requirement in the state of Maryland for teenagers to get their license. We know that we are not the only driving school. For that reason, we decided to be the best driving school in the area.

I received a reckless driving ticket, consulted a lawyer and he recommended that I go ahead and take a Driver Improvement course in advance of my court date to show that I am taking all measures to have the charge reduced.
Because I am trying to be proactive, I do not have a court issued or MVA issued referral letter to take the course. The woman on the phone told me that they would not accept me in their class and that I could take my business elsewhere.
Well, I most certainly will and hopefully you all do too! I’m appalled that (1) a business is not willing to accept someone who wants to PAY them and (2) that they would turn away a driver who is trying to be proactive and help their court case!!!
