We specialize in unique items, American Made products and customer service, including free gift wrap! Our customers always leave with a great gift for themselves or friends and family. We carry a large selection of jewelry as well as Vera Bradley, Scout Bags and pieces for home and entertaining.

History

Established in 1994.

As a local, family owned business, we’ve been serving the Gaithersburg community for over 20 years. We’ve grown from a few hundred square feet to our current spacious location and last year we are pleased to have won «The Best Gift Shop» award for Montgomery County.

Great selection, top notch «stereotyping» staff. Daughter selected a Vera Bradley bag that was strapped to my arm while we continued to shop. We were in the back of the store looking at ceramic owls (my absolute favorite), when a woman ordered us to give the Vera Bradley bag to her to hold up front. My daughter and my jaws dropped in shock as we were singled out and no one else was ordered to hold their merchandise at the front register while they shopped. Plenty of shoppers perusing items and carrying lots of merchandise in their hands. I was SO EMBARRASSED!!! We immediately felt stereotyped by this request. We won’t be returning ever.

This is by far the best store for unique gifts and on top of that the have the best customer service. They know their inventory so well so if you are looking a gift for a dog lover they will help you find it and also give you many options to find that special something. My first visit was a bit overwhelming, but in a good way, just because they have so many pretty things. They also offer free gift wrapping! Their staff is very attentive and helpful. Also, they have special events when you can get discounts for specific items.

This is a rare find out in this part of Montgomery County (Northern part in Darnestown). This is the type of shop you would see in Bethesda or Alexandria areas.
You can find unique and thoughtful gifts for anyone on your list.
They do a great job of wrapping the gifts (no charge) so you can shop and have it all wrapped at the same location. Nice when you are short on time.
They have an extensive collection of Vera Bradley and other similar bags, china, serving/​dining décor, holiday décor, home décor, children’s, jewelry, etc …
I enjoy going there every couple months and seeing all new stuff, as they change up their merchandise fairly regularly.
Be sure to get on their email list to get coupons and news about special events and sales.

I love this place! It’s a great little store. Excellent place to find a unique gift or jewelry for yourself. The staff are always helpful and there’s a very big selection. The jewelry selection in particular is phenomenal. I initially started going or to purchase gifts for others, but now purchase on my own jewelry from here as well. This is a great store if you’re looking for unique gift for someone at a reasonable price or if you want to get some really cool jewelry for yourself. I especially like the fact that a lot of jewelry creators they use our local artists.

Anytime I need to get a special present or an adorable hostess gift, I come here. They have such a wide selection of items, I never walk out empty handed.
They can wrap your presents for you which is an added bonus. They definitely go the extra mile for their customers.

I really like this place! It is unique and you can always find a gift for any occasion. Every time I have entered I feel like the staff is very willing to help and super friendly. They have scout bags, which I adore and for me is the icing on the cake!

I have been an Artisans customer for 7 years and have always found the staff really helpful in finding the right gift at the right price! I’ve had great luck shopping for men here as well as women and kids.
The selection is huge and unique so whatever I buy the recipient always loves it.
The collection of Scout products is incredible and has become known among the locals as the go-​to place for all things Scout.

My favorite gift store! I find reasons year-​round to shop here. It’s the perfect place to get a gift for a housewarming, birthday, baby shower, wedding, holiday or just for fun!
This is a gift store that is not only fun to look at but is also affordable to buy from. The friendly atmosphere is a huge plus too. I’m warmly greeted each time when I walk in the door and there is someone always around to grab when you need help.
Oh, how can I forget the best part? They beautifully and quickly wrap everything for free!

I love this store. This is my immediate go-​to shop for every holiday, birthday, celebration of every kind. Even if you walk in and have NO idea what you are looking for, they have the best people working there to help you find the perfect gift. (And there’s always something to pick up for myself as well!)

This was a really nice place, kind of out of the way for me, but I really needed my Thymes Lavender soap! So, I traveled to Darnestown and had a lot of fun perusing all the kitschy merch in the store.
Not only did they have my addiction in stock (The Thymes Lavender Soap) but many other little things that I was able to pick up for as Christmas presents and stocking stuffers.
This is definitely one of those stores where you go when you have no idea what you want to get, but walk out the door with something great in your bag.
Things are a little bit on the pricey side though– I have seen some of the merch elsewhere for less, but still it has more to offer than most «gift» stores I have seen.
Go! And just have fun window shopping if you don’t buy anything :0)
