History
Established in 1976.
Texas Trailers in Gainesville, Florida began in 1976 as a manufacturing division of Hale Trailers, a Texas based horse and livestock trailer manufacturer. Originally we fabricated horse and livestock trailers and shipped them to dealers throughout the Southeastern United States.
After fifteen years our current location was purchased from Hale Trailers by the General Manager, Bob Worth. He started the transformation of Texas Trailers into a full service trailer manufacturer and dealership. In 1993 Bob sold to the second owner who ran the business for eight years with moderate changes.
In 2007 Texas trailers was purchased by Rick and Colleen Croft. With the help of our 25 dedicated employees we have built Texas Trailers into one of the largest trailer dealers in Florida. Today we manufacture trailers, have a full service parts and service department and a professional trailer body shop. We continue to look for ways to build the best trailer available at a competitive price.
