Is it just me, or does it seem like every moderately-​sized city in America have a place named Rum Runners?
Anyway, Rum Runners is a new bar in the old Fat Tuesday location on 1st St. It’s a little small, but there’s still plenty of room to hang out. A small stage sits in the corner, with the bar on the opposite side of the room. As the name would suggest, Rum Runners specializes in frozen alcoholic beverages and they’re mostly delicious, if a bit expensive. Bring a koozie if you order one, though, as it’ll numb your hand rather quickly. And if you’re an alcoholic, expect brain freeze.
