McCray’s BBQ Shack

Just passed this BBQ Truck a couple of days ago, so i thought I would stop by and give it a try. I was really hoping that it would be a small BBQ joint that would surprise everyone with the food despite the way it looked. Boy, was I wrong. The food just wasn’t good at all.
I got the rib sandwich ($ 8.40) and it was disappointing. The box it came in was small, so I was hoping the taste would make up for it. But… it didn’t. It was 4 ribs on 2 slices of regular bread slices. The ribs were were kinda tough, and WAY oversauced. Their menu was limited and all I saw was chicken and ribs (no pulled pork, brisket, etc). If the menu is limited, normally they specialize in the few things they offer… but not this place.
Mama said if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all… but people need to know. Someone like me may have driven by and thought the same thing I did. I was hoping for a place that is reminiscent of «Chunky T’s BBQ» (Old bbq place in gainesville that closed down — hands down best bbq). What I got instead was anything but.
