Love ‘Em and Leash ‘Em has been providing a small and personalized mid-​day dog walking and vacation pet sitting service since 2001. Primary service area is on or near the Linton Hall corridor in Gainesville, Bristow and also serves some bordering parts of Nokesville, Manassas and Haymarket.

A mid-​day visit is an ideal solution to bring some relief, joy, exercise, and love to your furry family member (s) back home. A short visit for a walk, potty break, treat, and a belly rub makes a world of difference for a pet alone at home for many hours a day.

Vacation sitting is the other service offered. This involves visits to your home tailored to fit your pets’ needs. The goal is keeping them as close as possible to their usual schedule, and most importantly, in their usual environment. There’s no place like home, after all! Mail, newspapers and packages are always brought inside. Trash and recycling bins are brought to curb and back inside. Interior and exterior lights are rotated.

Established in 2001.

My name is Rachel Potts. I’ve been a member of the community since 1999. I’ve raised my family here. I’m a Registered Nurse and continue this work on a part time basis. It is my pet sitting service, however, that is my true source of pride and joy. Simply put, I love what I do and couldn’t imagine having not walked thousands of paws over the past 13 years!

I don’t consider myself «a business», per se. I have no plans or desires to become more than just the small and highly personalized pet companion that I’ve been since I started caring for pets over a decade ago. Many of my long term clients will likely agree that after awhile, I just sort of become extended family. :)

I hope to soon be making a few new four legged friends. They truly are the best kind!
