This is your kitchen gadget go to spot in Gainesville. I was looking for a biscuit place in the same shopping center. Me having 3 kitchen in our house I just felt that I could not leave without going in. They have a plethora of gadgets that for sure. Everything from pots and pans mostly the higher end stuff. They have a fair amount of kitchen knifes. Every slicer, cutter, poker, squeezer, squishier, and a few pounders. They have all sorts of stuff for your kitchen and the surrounding rooms. The ladies working inside are there helpful I’m not sure. They left me alone to browse around. So if you are in Gainesville and need stuff for your kitchen swing in.

If you are a foodie, aspiring chef, lover of kitsch or always on the hunt for the perfect gift you will LOVE Kitchen and Spice. This privately owned gift shop and kitchen supply store is incredibly well-​currated. I was able to spend close to two hours browsing their selection of cookware, baking goods and knickknacks. It was so much fun! Their selection runs from the practical: scoops, measuring cups, rolling pins, frying pans, to specialty items such as fondue pots, empanada makers, Wilton cake pans and cookie presses.
Their gift selections are phenomenal, as well. I don’t have kids but I almost wished I did when I saw all the cute kitchen stuff for kids. Of course since this is Gainseville there was a huge selection of Gators accessories. Gator Steak brands? Yeah, they have them.
The ladies who run this shop were also incredibly helpful. They knew their inventory incredibly well — even the weirder items I thought were put there as an afterthought. I mean really, who hosts raclette parties? These gals know how!
I cannot recommend a visit to this store highly enough if you enjoy kitchen shops. It is Williams and Sonoma, Crate and Barrel, Bed Bath and Beyond and FAO Schwartz all rolled into one!

Ugh… if you like paying double retail and appreciate dismissive service this is the place. Otherwise, they are a great example of why so many people shop the Internet. They do have sales from time to time where they just charge retail instead of charging absurdly higher prices.

prices on most items it on the higher end, but you can find some really neat stuff in there no other place carries

They are the only place in town with top quality kitchen/​cookware. Overpriced. Staff has no real product knowledge also unhelpful, and sometimes rude. I would skip this place. You can find everything they carry for much cheaper online.
