We visited this place on a Monday night. Only a few folks in there, but the kids working at the counter were friendly and attentive, and seemed to be really enjoying themselves, joking around and dancing to the music. The music left a little to be desired(i’m not a hip-hop or pop-music fan), but at least it was at a pleasant volume with some bumpin’ beats. Service was prompt, they were very apologetic for having run out of a particular tea we had requested, and their shisha blends not only had some hilarious names(«Bitch…Smoke Dis,» «I’m on a Boat»), but the one we tried was pretty delicious(«Bombamint» — blueberry, coconut and mint! wowzers). Definitely not a traditional sort of atmosphere, but felt way more chill and pleasant than Hookah Nite Café on the other side of Gainesville. I would probably go to both if i ever come back to Gainesville, and I can’t vouch for what Hookah Hutt is like on the weekend since we checked it out on a Monday. Honestly? I’d say check them both out and see for yourselves… not exactly a vast ocean of difference between the two.

This place is packed with high schoolers, which makes sense since they don’t card. The girl working there didn’t attend to us for a long time and looked much younger than 18 herself. Their tobacco was priced fairly high and their atmosphere was not very nice at all. They had a lot of greasy food on their menu which I didnt completely like, and their atmosphere was so threadbare that we ended up leaving! Go to Hookah Nite Café, it may not have the great location that Hookah Hutt has, but it has much more sophisticated atmosphere, better service, and better prices, better selection.
