After a 3-Hour Trip from learning the customs and beliefs of Hinduism, my mother & I decide to drop by and settle down for some food. The noise level was pretty good, it wasn’t really all that, it just was quiet. Not quiet, like a library. Anyway, the food came at an appropriate time, like 15−30minutes. Heck, I don’t know what time food SHOULD come out. I order the RIBANDWINGERDINNER(Dry Rub &4 Alarm Suicide Flavors) It probably was my problem why the wings were too dang spicy. I did say, hottest you got. Along with my food, of course, my mother got hers.(CHOICETOPSIROLION)-Requested Med. The temperature was correct but what wasn’t right was the garlic mashed potatoes. They were cold; I don’t mean stone-cold, but cold compared to her steak and vegetables, which were right on correct. She did get a new batch, it was the right thing to do. The last thing on the list, was the long waiting of the bill. Our server came at a time when, we almost lost our patience to not give a tip, but soon, he came, we gave him a $ 5.00 tip, and finally we will our on way home.

First time having gator! Not sure what to think of it. Some of the pieces were really chewy. Others had the consistency of chicken. Pretty good though. Had the sliders. Took off a star because I ordered the garlic mashed potatoes but was served French fries instead. It was quickly corrected. Sliders and mashed potatoes were good. A little on the pricier side.

I came here for the ALCS game and had a great experience. We tried to go to Buffalo Wild Wings but it was packed, so a friend recommended that we come here. I called ahead to see if they had any tables left, and they said they would save the last large table for my group. We got there 20 minutes or so after the game started, and the manager came over and asked if we were enjoying ourselves, and if there was anything he could do. We had great service(from Austin I think?) the entire time. Drink prices were super reasonable. Thanks for a great first visit!

Great wings, drink specials, and sports restaurant atmosphere. Awesome weekday lunch specials on wings and chicken tenders that are hard to beat

We had a very rude experience involving the manager when we went to eat on the night of the BCS championship. We were also disappointed to hear that they were not offering all you can eat wings which was our main reason in choosing that sports bar. While the food is often good, we’ll be considering other options for the time being.

Had a nice cold one with a few friends in their outside dining area. They have a nice happy hour with a buy one get one free on domestic brews. Customer service was good, even with us sitting outside the waitress never forgot about us and came out to make sure we were good on several occasions.

We went here on gameday(FSU vs UF) and it was packed with people wearing Orange & Blue, but we were seated right away. We shared 2 appetizer, chicken tenders with their hot sauce and fried pickles(they are thickly sliced chips which in my opinion is the best way to have fried pickles. We also got 3 craft beer and our bill came to $ 33.45 which was awesome. I am not sure where the expensive/overpriced review are coming from. It’s your typical fried sport bar food, if you are expecting anything more you will be disappointed. But I would definitely go again.

This was our first experience at Gators Dockside. My wife and daughter had to send their dinner back since their main course was COLD. Their tomato bisque was lumpy and also cold. The service was slow and delivery wasn’t planned well, so the kids never ate with the parents. Coffee had no flavor and a dark color, and after sending it back, the next cup was the same. Both bathrooms looked dirty and needed a make over. The staff were very friendly. My ½ rack ribs were good. Lots of specials on drinks.

Service is hit or miss but their salads are really awesome and I like a sports bar that gives me healthy options while watching the game.

Incredible AYCE deal with the wings. A wide variety of sauces, as well as different types of wings that are included in the deal. Awesome environment and friendly service. This place makes Mondays okay!

Pretty much«the» sports bar in Gainesville. Food is pretty decent and most of the staff is friendly. Some of the bartenders, not so much. Lots of tvs and good burgers. Decent beer selection. I go here on occasion. They also have trivia on Wednesdays(I think).

Great place to watch sports! And probably 1 of 3 restaurants in Gainesville you can actually see sports. I never had anything else their besides their wings, but they were great. Probably my favorite wings in town. Go for the hot garlic if you like spicy! My waitress seemed a little fake in her kindness and tan, but the service was still pretty good.

Tv’s Tv’s and More TV’s. This is a great place to watch a game it’s another place that seems to get all of it’s ingredients out of the freezer but they do a good job with it and always have good beer specials(Except during football games)

Who was the genius who suggested to try the Scooter Sauce? I can’t thank you enough! Those was the most amazing wings I’ve had ever! I’m going there again just for the sauce! :D

Well. More changes. They recently renovated the space. Which would normally be a good thing, but in this case, it depends what you’re looking for. With the more«upscale» look, the higher prices, and the departure of many of the weekly specials that brought us here, this place is very different than it was even just a year ago. There is no more cup night on Tuesday nights. End of an era :(Their drink specials seem to be limited to 2-for-one all the time(which, depending on how much the drink actually costs, may or may not be a real«deal). I believe they no longer have deals on buckets or pitchers of beer.(they may still do pitchers, but definitely not buckets.) They are pushing their craft beer menu– the selection is admittedly pretty good, but it does not rotate and the prices are a bit high. Most servers are not knowledgeable about the selection– they generally cannot tell you anything about the beers and you have to literally point to the one you want. Speaking of employees, there seems to be an unusually high amount of turnover lately. As far as food goes, they no longer do 55 cent boneless wings. I can’t speak to the existence of AYCE wings. Luckily, scooter sauce is still delicious. But that’s the only saving grace. Honestly, two stars is where it’s at. «Meh» indeed. RIP old Dockside.

All you can eat(AYCE) wings on Thursdays are no more. This’ll be the last time I come here.

The wings themselves get five stars. I love the traditional hot just as much as the more unique flavors like the Caribbean Jerk and Scooter. Definitely go on one of the wing special days. I believe Monday and Wednesday are all you can eat nights for traditional and boneless respectively. TONS of TVs to watch games. My friends and I would often go on Thursdays during the fall for Thursday Night Football. Service is more in the three star range. I’ve had to wait extended periods of time for my food and even my drinks sometimes. The portions in relation to the prices also are less than satisfactory, not including the all you can eat nights. You have to pay extra too for vegetables and more dipping sauce. The quality of the food is superb. The service and prices, however, are not.

2.5 star overall. I had the gyro plate and is was OK — more of a beer and burger joint. I was surprised at how busy it was for a Thursday 7PM dinner. Went with some friends — it was SOOOLOUD i could not hear myself think! Looks like the students love it as it is a SPORTS bar with a more or less sandwich menu and BEER. oh did I say that already? Oh is was the 25TV’s I forgot to mention. I might have enjoyed it more if I was going there to drink. Or server was very goo and did not mind seperate checks. However, we where approached 3 times by runners trying to serve us others food! In fact, one guy came by and just dropped off a dessert in the middle of the table. Our waitress soon noticed and said it belonged at the table behind us. Maybe new staff … school starting. I would not go bad — unless I had a GETMYPERKS deal. ThenI would lower my standards! CHEERS!

We go here for the wings and chili They have a great selection of wings and one of the few places you can get them breaded or naked Lots of different wing sauces to pick from, the scooter is our favorite Believe it or not their Chili recipe is excellent, very unique. It’s your basic sports bar with lots of TVs and sports bar food. But better than the average.
