One of the worst food I ve eaten so far in Gainesville, their dinner buffet is $ 10 which consists of fake eggs, little selection of fruit(mushy bananas), oily food, watered down coffee… Low grade food, not worth the $ 10.

I absolutely LOVE this place for it’s endless variety! It’s an all you can eat buffet for $ 6.36 with everything your heart and tummy can desire. Moreover, the staff is friendly and nice and they personalize everything from pastas, sandwiches, salads, omelets, coffee to cereals and ice cream sundaes. They serve sea food too which is brilliant. I love their Chicken stew that they serve with perfectly cooked rice. They serve fruits too which are always fresh! The options they have for drinks are also endless. There is so much more good food to talk about but I guess I’d let some surprise element remain and let you try it out for yourself. I and my pocket are in love with the options gator dining has to offer and we frequent there now. If you’re a gator and you don’t eat here at least once a week, do you even chomp, bro?

Is it crazy to say that this was one of my favorite lunch spots on campus? I come here when I’m tired of feeding my body Burger King, Subway, or Wendy’s/Cheeburger/Panda Express/Whatever else UF wants to stick in the Reitz. It’s in a nice little location away from epicenter of the University, right across from the O-Dome and the Swamp. It’s pretty much where all the athletes go to get food, so you’ll spot a few familiar faces(if you’re into Gator sports and all). The people are nice, and if you go there enough, they’ll soon put a name to your face… and even crack jokes at your expense. As soon as you go in, you pay you’re $ 8 bucks for lunch and ?? for dinner(never been for dinner). There are different foods every day, but there is always a cereal bar, pizza, deli sandwiches, salad bar, etc. The pizzas are always so good. They’re not the best pizzas in the world, but I can’t understand why I never seem to turn down a slice of one. They’re greasy, cheesy, mounds of goodness. The deli sandwich section always seems good. They also have different things everyday, but I’ve seen everything from pastrami to tuna salad. But I can make a sandwich at home, no need to waste my time watching someone else do it. The salad bar is pretty big. They have everything a salad bar should have. It’s got… well I’m not too sure… Honestly, I don’t come here for the salad. There’s plenty of meat.(They also have vegan items for those who are reluctant to join the rest of us at the top of the food chain) The rotisserie/grilled section always has something new. And it’s never anything bad. I’ve had pork chops, rotisserie chicken, bbq pork, Ribs, and all kinds of meat. The grilled lunch is your classic American fare. Everyday they different items. They can have hot dogs, cheeseburgers, buffalo chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, cheesesteaks, or something patriotic. They’ll have fries and toppings to go along with it as well. The omelette bar is a favorite for everyone. It’s make your own omelette and you get to put whatever toppings or fillings you would like on it. Then the guy just makes it for you right there. Desserts are good, but not great here. They have jello, pudding, and the occasional cakes, but nothing great. There are so many options and only one tiny plate. You can be satisfied after one plate of food. But hold on. Your meal doesn’t end there. Are you nuts? No. The meal ends when you begin to hate yourself. The food is so good here, you don’t stop. You keep going in hopes that your guilty conscience goes away when you’re in line for another omelette. Those of you with self-respect might be able to stop, but not me. I make another trip until my stomach begs me to stop. Needless to say. It’s a good place and great option for lunch. For those with the unlimited meal plan, you can eat healthy here too. Grab small quick meals or grab an apple if your heart so desires. But for those without that meal plan; you’re spending $ 8. Make the most of it.
