Eyecare Express

Beware of his place. I made an appt, completed the new patient info form and was just about ready to be seen when I remembered I didn’t see any insurance info on the form… I just so happened to ask the ladies at the front desk about and they said they don’t take NO insurance at all. What? Uh u guys should probably tell ppl that over the phone before we set aside time out of our schedules for this appt bcuz I DO have insurance and I’m not paying for nothing if I’m already covered through my employer. I was so upset! The price of an eye exam here is $ 50+, which isn’t bad but I’m just so pissed that they didn’t tell me over the phone that they didn’t accept insurance, Smdh. I had to drive 30min to find this place too

I just called in to schedule an appointment… they do not accept any insurance… Wow.

I had my prescription done at Eyecare Express. I could not afford the glasses they sell at Eyecare Express so I ordered online from Frames direct. I needed my «PD» measurement to complete the order online and went Saturday to Eyecare Express to ask for this measurement and they told me to come back on Tuesday when the optometrist was there. I came back on Tuesday and they told me they would only give me that measurement if I ordered glasses from them. Terrible customer service! Their lies wasted my time twice. I will never go there again.
Dr. Johnson is a fine optometrist but the people that work there are idiots.

Dr. Robert Johnson — he is one of the best eye doctors I have been to in years, literally. I’ve had glasses since the age of 14, and in my 45 years he honestly ranks as one of the best I’ve ever seen. He explained how my eyes work, why I might be having the issues I’m having, gave me solid suggestions to help my issues, and gave me an excellent prescription. Where other doctors have recently told me I’d want Progressive lenses, Dr. Johnson explained why I didn’t need them YET, and benchmarks of when I would need them (including vision tests for myself and career changes). He encouraged me to get bifocals if I felt I needed them, but also explained where I’d see better with staying in single lenses.
I was duly impressed with Dr. Johnson and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Also, his office staff was personable and helpful. I dealt with two ladies, and one was exceptional in helping me find just the right frames, but not overselling. It is refreshing to find a business like this.

Dr. Robert Johnson is the MAN! I went in for an eye exam to get new contacts, and he was the perfect mix of friendly and professional. The price was also very reasonable. For anyone in need of an optometrist, you should head over to Eyecare Express.
