Really didn’t have a good experience with this company. Was relocating to Gainesville from texas to work at UF and was in search of a rental home. Found a house we liked and was pretty easy to get an appointment to view the property. The agent that met us was really nice and we really thought it worked out nicely. We asked TWICE if an application had been put in on the house and was told no both times. Im thinking, nice… this house is ours then. We put in two applications at 35.00 each and got them all the documents right then. I then called the next morning first thing and confirmed that they got the application and that it was complete. They said yes we did and everything looks great. We will call you back and let you know the good news. I didnt hear anything for a few hours and at that point we were just sight seeing our new town and gave up looking at houses. I then called them and they said, «oh by the way someone put in an application yesterday morning and they are approved so you did not get the house. can i show you another one?»
I was LIVID because they had 3 different chances to tell me that it had an application at least and we lost a whole day of looking because of them. Finally found a good fit for us about 3 hours before our flight back to texas. I couldnt believe the flippant attitude about royally screwing us out of 30% of our time in florida. No you may not show me another house, that is brutal.
they then said that since they didn’t run our credit that our cards would not be charged the 35 dollar application fee. Wrong, it sure as heck was charged. I then called back the next day and told them to take it off and they said sure. A week passed and that charge was still on there. I then called again and gave them what for and they took the charge off. Yikes, bad all the way around.
