Chef Brothers Custom Catering

I bought a pre-​made sandwich at the Ortho building in their café. It was a vege wrap. I picked it up to take a bite and the whole bottom of the wrap was soggy and disentigrating. I could not bring myself to taking a bite.

First, I met with Pete (the owner and chef) and Denise (I guess the manager/​setup person). Both were nice and made life very simple for a couple getting ready to get hitched. However, when the big day came, Denise was unprofessional and disorganized. We made sure to get the venue for a week in advance so everyone could setup and prepare accordingly, however, Chef Brothers procrastination really added more work and stress on to everyone else involved. These were are just SOME of the issues:
–She said her dog died and was unable to meet several appointments and to setup effectively (found out later it wasn’t her dog).
–the kegerator stop working with 2 kegs left, craft beer was suppose to be the main beverage (when I asked about it during the event, she told me there was hardly any beer left)
–the tables for cocktail hour were never setup the way she said they would be
–the kids never had dinners and Denise herself went to Zaxbys and bought tender meals for them. (This was way late and nobody wanted them by then + we were charged for them)
This is just a few obvious mistakes, and I could go into more detail, but this clearly shows her lack of integrity and punctuality! Next time someone asks you a question, they would appreciate the truth more than anything else.
On a last note, Pete did a great job on the food. I could tell he has a real passion for the culinary arts and it showed. If we had a choice we would of just got the food from them. My advice to Chef Brothers, get out of the rental and setup business or do a better job.
My advice for the person ready this report, go somewhere else.

When it comes to catering, there is no place better! After having their food at several work functions I inquired about a holiday party at my home and people are still raving about the food AND service. One of my guests ended up calling them for her daughter’s wedding and had the same result. The service is great and the staff that handles their event coordination is top notch. If you are looking for great food and service, this is your caterer. So much better than ordering from a restaurant and having to do most of the other work yourself.
