In addition to serving pet owners, is is a designated regional critical care center for Alachua County and surrounding areas. The new state-of-the-art facility is fully equipped and staffed to handle any emergency and critical care cases. Mon.-Fri. 6:00PM-8:00AM, Sat 12:00PM-Mon 8:00AM and all major holidays.

AA Pet Emergency Services, Inc. (dba Affiliated Pet) was established in 1986 by a group of dedicated and concerned Gainesville area veterinarians. This group’s vision was to design a hospital to provide emergency veterinary medical care outside the routine office hours of area hospitals and clinics. This would ensure that no pet owner would be without quality, emergency and critical care in times of need.
From a small office off Newberry Road to our current facility off Tower Road in Gainesville, Affiliated Pet has grown to realize this group’s vision of high-quality, state-of-the-art emergency care for pet owners in North Central Florida.
