Michelle Tuesday Music School offers one-​on-​one music lessons for adults and children; classes in piano, guitar, violin, drums, preschool music, songwriting, and drama; coaching and direction for bands, choirs and ensembles; and music summer day camps for children entering the 1^st — 12^th grades.

History

Established in 2010.

After more than a decade of business management experience in Corporate America, Michelle Tuesday decided to pursue her music passion. She left manufacturing plants behind and opened a music school in Gahanna, Ohio. In the first year of business, MTMS grew from less than ten students to over 200, and from four employees to twenty-​five. MTMS is proud to be a premier employer of musicians and music educators in Central Ohio, and our faculty are proud to be the educators of future world-​class musicians.

Meet the Business Owner

Michelle T.

Business Owner

A freelance musician in central Ohio, Michelle Tuesday is a professional singer, songwriter and writer with over 30 years of musical experience. Born into a musical family, Michelle began performing professional engagements when she was 15 and has taught private music lessons since 2003. She serves as praise band director and worship leader for Messiah Lutheran Church (since 2002) and regularly performs at a variety of public and private venues. Her music is an eclectic mix of contemporary Christian music, folk, rock, country, pop, R&B, and jazz, all performed in her signature acoustic style. A typical gig might feature covers of such diverse artists as U2, The Beatles, Carole King, Dar Williams, Taylor Swift, Rhianna, and Bruce Springsteen, as well as original songs.

Michelle also keeps a regularly updated blog on the MTMS website, which features tips and insight about practice, performance, and the world of music, along with new original music and goings-​on at MTMS.
