Its healthcare division focuses on networking medical offices in support of their practice management systems. The company installs and supports Dentrix and Dexis software solutions. Network Solutions recycles computer components, hard drives, monitors, keyboards, mice, cables, fax machines, printers and telephones. It operates a division, Internet Solutions, which is a full-​service Internet service provider that provides dialup and wireless access to the Internet. Internet Solutions also offers Web hosting and email solutions and its data center features redundant firewalls for security, fiber optic internet connectivity and uninterruptible power supplies.

History

Established in 1995.

The founders of Network Solutions, Inc. had extensive experience in hardware repair and networking and had started working together in the computer business in 1987. From the beginning, Network Solutions, Inc. concentrated on business networks for companies that were too small to support an internal information technology department. In 1996 the founders of Network Solutions, joined with another partner to form Internet Solutions. Internet Solutions was started to provide internet services to both business and home users. The two companies shared offices and staff, which helped them become leaders in bringing business networks onto the internet. Internet Solutions has now been brought under the Network Solutions, Inc. umbrella and functions as a division of Network Solutions.

Business Owner

Trey has been in the computer business since he was a small boy. With his educational background (BS in Electrical Engineering), he has an understanding of the inner working of computers that is rare in this industry. He handles many aspects of the work done at Network Solutions, Inc., including network administration of the internal system, sales, and working on site at customer locations when needed. Trey specializes in *nix (Unix, Linux, BSD) operating systems and has a deep understanding of networking protocols and system function.
