I have gone into this store twice now with money in hand and the intention to spend. Both times there have been a handful of staff standing at the desk, no one acknowledged me either time or offered me any assistance. I have never been in such a rude store, and I will not go back. They lost out on my $ 800 sale for having rude salespeople.

Christine did a great repair job on an antique lamp. It could not have turned out better, and the price was very fair. Wonderful job!

Great Selection of inventory, but their day-to-day office practices are from the 1950s. Handwritten receipts with notebooks with your orders scratched out and penciled in. You come to pick up your order and no one can find it. It looks like they have a computer but no one really knows how to use it. If these folks get into the 21st-century they’d be an incredible operation.

Last week I shopped at Furlong because I was in need of 2 lamp harps. The ladies were very helpful and pointed out why a certain harp was not working for me. I have shopped there numerous times and have had lighting repairs done as well. I have always been very satisfied with their service, professionalism and direction. I love it that this business is convenient to my home. The staff is great!

I disagree with the one star reviewer. I had been shopping for lights for a while and popped in last month and was pretty impressed by how large the store is(much bigger inside than it looks from the outside) and the the amount of inventory they had on display. I didn’t have any problem ordering my lamps and the sales woman were more than friendly and helpful. The prices were also in line with online retailers but I whenever possible I like to buy from a locally owned store. I highly recommend this lighting store.

I went here trying to support a local business. I went on a weekend and they had nothing in stock that worked for me, but they said look online and we’ll order what you want. So I did and went back a few days later with a printout from their website of some really basic sconces. First off, even though I had a printout from their very own website, they had to go back into the computer(and the woman who helped me acted as if she’d never used a mouse before) and find it all over again. Then I was told that my item was special order and once they ordered it it was mine, period. Now if I was ordering some special hand blown glass thing in a crazy color, I’d get that. But there were really basic, bronze sconces. They wouldn’t budge on this so I declined. Now I’ll go and order them from pottery barn or restoration hardware online, where they’ll take them back if they arrive and I don’t like them(it’s sometimes hard to tell about quality via a website picture). Steer clear of this place. They don’t seem to want your business, so don’t give it to them.
