We just picked up our 1977 Chevy C-10 Stepside yesterday evening from the folks at NC Classic and couldn’t be happier with it. When we first got our truck it ran fairly well, but needed quite a bit of cosmetic help. The fenders had some rust, paint was faded, and on the interior the dash was cracked from sun exposure, door panels were beaten up, windows were off their tracks and the carpet needed replacing. Under the hood, everything was in good working order but it was filthy, and we wanted it to have that clean, partially chromed out look that the cars on the Mecum auctions have. Dan and Connie(along with their son Kenny and another young man named Nate) were helpful and honest folks. They walked us through everything that needed to be done, and let us order the parts ourselves so we could see that we weren’t being charged more than necessary. They also took pictures over the course of the restoration process, which they’ll be providing to us so that we can create a scrapbook. I’m pleased to report that our shiny red truck with the hardwood flat bed looks as good as new — just in time for tailgating season! We’d happily recommend NC Classic’s services to any friend, and should we look to restore another or have more work done on the C-10, we’ll be back to see them again!
