DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I purchased a 2013 Ford Escape right off the line and the vehicle didn’t have anytime to sit on the lot. I was told by Moe the salesperson that new tires where being put on and a full inspection was being done. Tires were old and need new ones and found out there is rust under the vehicle. I received my SUV and began driving it until the gas got low. Once I filled it back up it wouldn’t start and the emission light came on. I contacted Inline Auto to bring it in but they said they didn’t have time to fix the problem. I took it to Ford dealership and they said that there Emission sensor was bad and Oxygen sensor was bad. I had to pay 400.00 dollars and I even bought the warranty from Pro Guard at Inline for 3 years. Thank God because it would have cost me more. They now said there might be something wrong with the computer. If you have problems you need file a a claim with the used car board of inspection. This will allow a inspector to go in the facility and check all there paperwork top to bottom and make sure that they will not take advantage of anyone else.

I have now had the 2007 Audi A8 for about a 18 months and continue to think it is a fantastic car and that I got a fair deal from Anchor. I have had to do a few repairs none of which would have been detectable when I bought the car. After about one year the suspension air compressor and one of the struts failed costing me about $ 1500, but I got the car for around $ 5,000 below market value so I am still way ahead.

I helped my girlfriend buy a car here almost a year ago.
First thing that a potential customer needs to know about this place is that it is a high volume dealer, which means you aren’t going to get much in the way of personal attention when you walk in the door. The plus side of this is that there is also no pressure to buy anything whatsoever.
These guys basically go out and buy dozens of cars every week at auto auctions, give them some sort of cursory kick in the tires, and then flip them for a few hundred over what they paid.
This has two very important impacts on a potential consumer:
1. YOU NEED TO GET A PRE-​PURCHASE INSPECTION. I cannot emphasize this enough. Go pay the $ 75 or whatever the cost is at a local garage for them to really thoroughly inspect a car. I did this and the result was that Anchor agreed to replace the water pump and put two new tires on the car before we bought it. At least in my experience, the sales guys were more than willing to give us the keys for a few hours and let us go up the road a few miles to do this.
2. There isn’t much room for negotiation. The cars here are priced to sell and they usually are not marked up much from their auction price.
At the end of the day, if you go there with those two things in mind there is no reason you can’t find a quality used car at a really great price.
We ended up purchasing a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe at roughly $ 3,000 below KBB price. So far we have had to spend $ 400 on repairs and about $ 200 to replace the other two tires that only had 6 months of life left on them when we bought the car. Still a great deal at $ 2,400 below KBB one year in.

I have no opinion about Inline Auto Sales. I was a great fan of Anchor. I’m not sure why my great review of Anchor was changed to a review for inline but I didn’t write a review for Inline at all. Come on, Unilocal.That’s not exactly above board, is it?

I had visited this used car lot several times in search of a car for my 16 yr. daughter. We finally somewhat settled on a car and waited for some of the repairs to be done before I could test drive it.
But after reading several reviews, from Unilocal and Yahoo, I decided to take it to a mechanic to have it further looked at. I knew what was being repaired by Anchor Auto Sales, and yes, it was costly and needed to be done. But, the place where I took it to get looked at further revealed even more.
*The underside was freshly painted in several spots to cover up rust.
*There was a nail in the tires that didn’t get replaced and barely passed tread inspection. Of which Anchor said that since those two tires passed inspection, that they would not replace them. But the other two tires in the front did get replaced.
*Several Maintenance issues that more than likely have not been done, even at the high mileage the car had.
* The heat protector that covers the exhaust needs to be replaced
*the muffler was being held up with a clamp instead of being welded.
ETC.
Overall, the cost of about $ 800 more dollars to sink into the vehicle, to me, was just not worth it.
In addition, Anchor Auto stated they didn’t want to copy the mechanics notes and suggested maintenance, so they would know what else needed to be done. Or for another person looking at buying the car and knowing what still need to be done to the car. In my opinion, it was worth the $ 20 to get different mechanic to look at it and would have appreciated Anchor Auto copying and passing on that information to another buyer. But they did not. Therefore, they lost my business.

AVOID!!!
At all costs. Seriously never shop here. You will save a few thousand dollars, but you will quickly dump it back into the car to fix whatever random things wrong with the car that you couldn’t easily see.
With our car «somebody» had
1) pieced part of a broken headlight back together so we couldn’t see it. It fell apart a few days later and cost roughly $ 500 to fix
2) zip tied (seriously) some of the siding of the car back on. It just looked dented when we bought it, but now it is sticking out like an inch and needs to be fixed. I am sure it will run 1000s of dollars to fix.
3) faded the audio to the back in order to conceal a buzz in one of the speakers
To our shock, we also heard them use the N word to refer to an African American customer that came in here. It was the first time in my life I had actually heard somebody use the word like that in person… disgusting. Shame on us for buying from them, but we needed to save the money… huge mistake.
For the love of God, don’t make the same mistake we did. Don’t shop here. EVER. I promise you will regret it.
It has been the single worst experience I have ever had with buying anything.
Also, look at the filtered reviews. There are tons of people like me who specially signed up for a Unilocal account to rip this place. They just didn’t review anywhere else so their reviews got filtered. DON’T SHOP HERE.
UPDATE: That same somebody had put in a crappy jack that doesn’t even fit the car and a tool that won’t actually take the wheel off and probably sold the real ones. Also, the spare looks like someone put in an old one. The nightmare continues. Don’t ever ever buy anything here.

This place sells second hand cars for a grand or two below usual costs. We bought a car from them just recently. They don’t do a comprehensive once-​over check of used cars they buy. They just make sure that the car passes the NC roadworthy inspection. So, if you’re buying from them, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get your own mechanic to look over the car.
The cars are usually in a reasonable shape. Some of them have small scratches or dents. For the price of these cars, the scratches may be too little to worry about. They are busy most days and they allow you to test drive without an a sales person in the car (which I prefer so much more).
Reasonable car dealership. No pressure. They are inexpensive but they also skimp on the inspection. Good thing is that they don’t pretend they do any more than the bare minimum.
