I can’t believe i’ve taken so long to review! Aimee is so nice and it was really nice getting a pedicure alone– not surrounded by 10 other chairs. Polish lasted over 2 weeks! She also made my eyebrows look amazing :)

Love this place! Went in and Tonya took the time to think about how my long hair could have style. She delivered the best cut I have ever had. I will definitely return.

Had my first appointment today with Tanya, and she did a great job. My hair is always a challenge, and it came out great!

My go-​to place for mani’s and pedi’s and now brows. Aimee is AMAZING! Her pedi’s are like a mini-​massage. You get a drink of choice. Her «mimosa’s are delicious! My polish always last 3 – 4 weeks! In addition she is the sweetest person ever! Her prices cannot be beat and she usually has discounted packages for purchase.

I saw a massage special online, and read the massage therapist (Tom Taylor — He gave me his card) had been named the Best Massage Therapist in Fuquay-​Varina by a local magazine. With that kind of recommendation and an inexpensive deal, I had to try it. I had never been to Cameo, but had heard good things.
The place is very nicely decorated with large chandeliers and an open floor plan. It appears very roomy and warm. I was greeted by a very nice young lady at the front (sorry, I don’t remember her name — Linda?), and offered a cup of water while I waited. My wait was not long at all, but while I was waiting I witness a tall red-​headed woman (I was told later by a friend she was the owner) loudly berating someone on the telephone. She was slamming things around while the employees looked embarrassed and appeared to be trying to ignore her. She finally finished her call, and stormed to the back of the salon, out of sight.
The massage was excellent! I have had shoulder and neck problems for years, and even some numbness in my arm and hand. Tom explained to me the possible causes of the problems I was experiencing, and what he was going to do during the massage. He was very knowledgeable and thorough, and the massage was the best I have ever had. I left feeling like a new person. Two weeks later, and I have had no numbness in my arm or hand. I used to receive regular massages, and thought I had a great massage person. Now, I will not go to anyone else but Tom.
After my massage the red-​headed owner woman was almost yelling at the sweet girl who greeted me when I arrived. Her behavior has made me question my decision to return to the salon. But the unbelievable massage guarantees I will be back.
Four stars for the ambience and décor. One star for the unprofessional owner. Five+ stars for the massage.

Today was my first visit to Cameo Salon. My experience here was awesome.
First off… I haven’t been In salon in over 5 yes. but I’ve been to a couple in Raleigh and they didn’t do as good as a job as Karson from Cameo did on my hair which needed root color and cut. The other places I went to made such a mess and stained my shirt but not at Cameo. Very neat and cool salon. Going there from now on!

Tara has done my daughters up-​do for two years, and just when I didn’t think it could be any better, it was even more amazing this year! My daughter has very, very thick long hard to curl straight hair. Not only did the curls stay in (even through the rain), but also stayed up perfectly. We will never go anywhere else. Tara is amazing!!! (See the photos)

This was my first time here and it is the best place i have ever gotten my hair done at. I cant wait to come back for my partial highlights.

Love, Love, LOVE this place!!! Every one is so friendly. I have never seen anyone have a more than 5 minute wait. Kassie is my girl and I would change that for anything!!!

Great salon with a very reasonable price for the quality of service they provide. Love my new hair and will be sure to make this place a go-​to for future cuts. It was stylish and clean on the inside and I really felt like everyone there was enjoying their experience there.

Loved, loved, loved my experience here! Crystal was my hairdresser and I highly recommend her! I had bellow shoulder length hair and got it cut down to a pixie. I was expecting to be a little I’m shock after the cut but Crystal did such a great job that I fell in love immediately! You know it’s a great cut that when you leave a wash your hair for the first time and all your hair falls in the right place as it did when in the salon!

Great salon! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a place to get a haircut. It’s usually hard for me to find a great place on the first try but I loved this place. Love my haircut! Great prices, great atmosphere, and my hair stylist was wonderful! I will definitely be going back!

Thanks so much for a great style and your professional opinion on what would look good on me. It’s refreshing to know that a stylist will actually not be afraid to give their opinion on what type of cut looks the best on their client. So many times some stylists shy away from really cutting the hair or being afraid to «dive in» and go for it or knowing how to style a short, sassy, layered cut. I highly recommend Cameo Salon as your next stop to a professional hair style. The staff are very professional, kind and courteous! As Unilocal say: Woohoo! As good as it gets! I hate getting a hair cut. I never know what to ask for, what will look good on me, etc. I was lucky to get Crystal one day and told her I need help. She not only looked at what would look good, but also asked about the amount of time I am willing to put into the daily style of it and what my job was to make sure that the style I went with would also be functional! I live in downtown Raleigh and drive all the way out there for every hair cut. The color and style are always spot on. I would recommend this salon to any and everyone!
