Specialties
«Quality One» Polish Pottery from the most respected factories in Boleslaweic, including Ceramika Artystyczna (CA), Kalich, Zaklady & Wiza. Hundreds of items in stock. Special orders are welcome, as most Polish Pottery pieces are available in many different patterns and shapes. Each piece of Polish Pottery is a work of art — handmade & hand-painted. Polish Pottery is known world-wide for its beauty & durability. It is crafted from a special white clay found only in the Boleslaweic area of Poland & fired at 2300 degrees, making it hard as stone. This intense firing makes it chip & breakage resistant & causes it to retain heat & diffuse it evenly. Polish Pottery is exceptional for baking & serving, & is oven, microwave, & dishwasher safe. It is lead & cadmium free & is meant to be used & enjoyed every day!
History
Established in 2012.
I love the beauty & durability of Polish Pottery & have sold the teapots and mugs in my local coffeeshop (Rooster Moon Coffeehouse in Hagerstown MD) for several years. Polish Pottery is made in so many unique shapes & beautiful patterns & I did not have space to expand my selections. I opened Polish Pottery of Hagerstown to provide the opportunity for more people to experience these unique Polish Pottery pieces in their homes & kitchens.
Meet the Business Owner
Vivienne S.
Business Owner
I have been a resident of Washington County MD for almost 40 years & a small business (coffeeshop) owner for the past 11 years. I’m happy to be able to bring such a wonderful selection of Polish Pottery to Hagerstown & Washington County MD. To me, using Polish Pottery is one of the simple pleasures in life. The pieces are so beautiful they are sure to become your favorites and bring a smile to your face. Even a few accent pieces can brighten up your table. I love to mix Polish Pottery & FiestaWare — so many of the colors complement each other.
Each piece is handformed and handpainted. There are links on our facebook page to the actual factories in Poland; you can read about the artists and view a video showing how this wonderful pottery is produced.
With proper care, these pieces can last a lifetime!
