I have tried Homer’s a few times and I have never really enjoyed my experience there. This was because I either didn’t like the food or the service or both. And I am not a picky eater.

There are not many NON fast-​food options in the area. The fried shrimp, hush puppies, and cole slaw were very good. Husband had ribeye that was heavily seasoned, but tasty.
This is not gourmet, by any means, but a heck of a lot better than Hardee’s or Wendy’s. Place was clean and staff friendly.

I ordered the pulled pork with green beans and coleslaw. The service was average — not good but not bad. The green beans were the highlight… probably not a good thing to say about a barbecue place eh? The pork was cold and lacked much flavor and the bbq sauce (in bottle on the table) was very watery. If you are in a hurry, this place may work for you as the food was served quickly, but… if you want quality, go someplace else.

We were out riding around on a Saturday afternoon and decided to grab some BBQ to take home. We got some BBQ meat, beans and slaw. We got it home to amory and opened it up and noticed it was full of burnt pieces. We had to dig around to find any pieces worth eating. We called and spoke to Evelyvn and she told me that we should have specified ‘inside meat’. It definitely didn’t say that on the menu so how would we have known??? She just said sorry and didn’t offer to make it up to us. The beans were good but make sure you ask for inside meat. Very disappointed

Good food, and a very friendly staff. We wanted to eat at a locally owned restaurant, so the hotel clerk recommended Homer’s. After finding out they closed at 9pm, 3 of us arrived at 8:30 and asked if we were too late to bring in a party of 14. They said it was fine. The other 11 didn’t arrive until 8:50. They were very accommodating and friendly the entire time! The young waitress handled everything perfectly. I will definitely eat here again the next time I’m in Fulton.
