DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We made the mistake of shopping around for our move and going with the lowest priced company that quoted us. You get what you pay for. We treated the 3 guys that showed up for our move with nothing but respect — tipped them all well, treated them to lunch and helped them the entire time. What we got in return — my diamond engagement ring was stolen, a glass pane in the front door of our new home was cracked, 7 items in boxes marked fragile were shattered, and what I consider to be excessive charges were tacked on to the cost of the move (read the fine print — he tacks on another 5% on top of the additional $ 4 per hour for using a credit card). Additionally, I had given the mover my credit card information which he wrote on the receipt of which he took a copy. A week later fraudulent charges began showing up on our card.
Material things are material things but the invasion of privacy and lack of trust was such an unfortunate start in our new home. To make matters worse, Jon (the owner) took no responsibility other than offering us $ 100 for the broken window pane (which cost much more to replace) and never once offered us any sort of compensation or even a apology for the experience. He needed to be «100% sure» these things were caused by his guys, yet he fired the head mover Marcus and told me there was another active police investigation against this guy which I consider some acknowledgement of guilt.
Save your money and go with a reputable, perhaps larger corporate moving company — you may pay a bit more but if things go wrong, they’ll be more likely to insure your losses.

Thank you Xpress Moving for making moving easy for my fiancée and me. John and Mark were professional and to the point. They had all the necessary materials and equipment to protect and easily move all our belongings. It made a nightmare seem easy and relaxed. When and if we have to move again we wouldn’t think twice about calling again.

These guys were so awesome! They were extremely fast and efficient. They were also really friendly and professional. They did a great job moving my stuff without causing any damage and even helped me with transporting pet bunny :) the price was also very reasonable — I’m never moving without movers again. We had Marcus and Dennis help us today. We are going through the difficult process of moving my parents out of their house of almost 40 years. Both Marcus and Dennis were extremely patient with us and my parents. They were thorough, kind and professional. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to move.

Great work! They did a great job! Chris and Marquez are very good at what they do and did not break anything. I would recommend both of them!

Marcus and Josh helped me with a relatively small move and they did so quickly and efficiently. The trip up to the bedroom on the second floor was a tight squeeze, but they were careful not to scratch a thing. Marcus even took apart an awkwardly shaped desk to make sure it made it up without any issue.
They work hard and efficient and are respectful of your belongings. Only downside, they were 20 minutes late to start, but they sure made up for it by working fast.

John and his helper, Chris, I think, just moved us from CDM to Pasadena. He showed up 30 minutes early, worked hard and efficiently completed our move without incident. They took great care of our furniture and boxes and finished quicker than I had expected. We are very pleased with the job they did and we unequivocally recommend John and his company for any local move. We will be moving again in a few months and we will be using Allies Relocation Solutions again.

I moved with this company not too long ago, I called them and they showed up on time, were very professionals, they did an excellent job. They took care of my fragile stuff and everything. I thought they were going to take about 8 hours because I had so many stuff, it only took them 6hours. I’m so happy with their work. thanks guys

I agree with the gal that said 0 stars! This company is horrible. They arrived 45 minutes late and the guy in charge arrived so pumped up on steroids that I was literally afraid. I’m 62 with an 82 year old handicapped husband moving from a large home. He was in my face from the start and I asked him to leave my home and my property, he refused. I called the owner who apologized and assured me he would remove steroid boy and get me moved. An hour and a half later another kid showed up to help. It was a long day, 13 hours to move and the drive was 0.1 mile to our new home. It took two trips as well. I asked for two trucks and 5 guys, I got 1 truck and 3 boys. I was over charged but to exhausted to fight with him any longer. The next day I discovered they had broken 2 boxes of my wedding dishes.$ 1,500.00 to replace them. I called the owner to turn in a claim. A few days later I would learn that nothing was covered. In the small print it was disclosed that if they do not do the packing damaged goods are not covered! The owner offered me $ 30.00 «in good faith» for the broken dishes.
I was so disappointed in the boys for not telling me they broke dishes as well as furniture. I fed them lunch, provided cold drinks the entire day and gave each of them a generous tip.
It was a long, hot day with a horrible moving experience. Don’t hire these guys.

What an excellent moving experience!
Right from the earliest stages John in the office was very clear, helpful and responsive to all of our questions about scheduling and booking our packing and move.
We had packers show up the day before our move and packed up our entire home in no time — and they did an excellent job (way better than we could’ve done ourselves — and it showed when we were unpacking as we didn’t have anything break during the move (or even get scratched up).
And I can’t say enough about the actual moving day. We had excellent movers show up (Mark, Chris & Sam), and they hustled through every step of the move. These guys were friendly, courteous but most of all professional — they were careful with our furniture and boxes, and worked fast! Moving is always a stressful experience but these guys made it feel easy!
Highly recommended all around — and John and crew were really terrific.

«Buyer Beware!» !” Rate «0» stars. I had written the following first comment before what happened to me when it came to «bill time».
(«Stavo, Marcus and Chris, boy, these guys are strong and they work really hard! They are friendly and respectful. 13 hours almost and, dang, no complaints!
I’m not moving again anytime soon, but if I do, I’m calling these guys! Hooray!»)
The movers were great. BUT, the owner John is a bit of a scammer. First of all, he tried to bump my rate up from $ 109hr. to $ 168hr. Sighting that is was a «holiday». It was the day after Thanksgiving, he «Never» mentioned that over the phone! I would never have booked him on that day, and pay almost $ 60 bucks more! He was trying to exploit the fact, I was at his mercy, I had already booked his company and I had to be moved out before the first of December. I called his bluff and threatened that I would call off the whole thing! So he honored our verbal agreement, after all that! So I thought that was that. Than he threw in something called a flat rate? of $ 49 bucks, and, I forget what he called this other charge term, but it basically means he charges double for the time it takes his drivers to drive back and forth, from house to house. Oh, and don’t forget… its $ 105 for cash and $ 109 for credit card payments, I opted for the cc payment (cuz I had to) that already is being «charged for the fact of using a cc» but NO, wrong! There is another 5% charge for using a cc on top of that!
And the kicker!!! «He charges tax on Labor» IRS I hope you’re paying attention to this guy… since he charges tax on labor, you better collect on it too!!!
So something that I thought would cost, let me break it down for ya…13x$ 109+$ 49-​$ 25 (for good Unilocal review, which I meant every word at the time) =$ 1441 (no wonder they ask for the review before the bill) and ended up costing almost $ 1800, with tip. (I wasn’t gonna, not tip the guys, not their fault, but looking for new boss is a good idea) «Buyer Beware!» Rate «0» stars

Our last move was the first in which we’d hired movers. After working with Allies, I’m not interested in trying anyone else next time. The whole experience was painless, an adjective not ever normally associated with moving. John is a great guy to work with. The movers showed up on time and finished in less time than expected, which brought the overall cost down below the quoted amount. Even though it was just a cross-​town move, everything was packed with care and arrived unharmed. Highly recommended.

Such great movers! Marcos and Alfredo are beasts — they were quick, careful with my furniture and crazy strong. I had a last minute move (relo for work) and John got me set up with a next day move! What service! Thank you guys.
