Very bad experience. We gave our credit card to hold the room. Our daughter was in labor at the nearby hospital and we specifically called to confirm. We were exhausted and ready to check in and they had GIVEN OUR ROOM AWAY even though we had guaranteed the room with a credit card. Sad and bad!

I have always came here and respect the owners they are good people but i went there on monday had a white guy that was very disrespectful i had my girl to get the room he was saying be quiet because he had his family staying there in the office which i think you shouldn’t do that because its a business she got the room and this guy followed her to the room and said we had more then 4 people when we got dropped off cuz we dont wanna risk the life of anyone and getting a dui but for someone who follows someone to there room and that works there is very unprofessional

I had a very surreal experience here. We got to the motel at about 1:30am, checked in, and went up to the room. We opened the door, and i become incredibly freaked out by the most unsettling hysterical screaming, and the outline figure of someone sitting up in the bed. Not being able to comprehend the moment, we panic and run off. After we regained our composure, we went to the front desk. Looking confused to why we were back so soon, we told the man what had happened. He was very friendly upon check in, and immediately looked up the room. He said there was nobody registered. He apologized and gave us a new room. He grabbed a flashlight, and looked ready to get to the bottom of the situation.
I’m still not sure what happened. I don’t know if the clerk ended up calling the room or going there himself. I don’t know how the person got in the room, or if the room was somehow incorrectly recorded. It was a scary moment for me, but it’s possible we traumatized this sleeping man.
So– that aside, the room was decent for what you may expect. The room that was quickly assigned to us was fairly large, and I believe had a king size bed rather than a queen I originally checked in for. Pretty basic, soap-​only type of motel. Cleanliness seemed decent aside from some trash on the floor. That included a condom wrapper between the bed and table that must have been glanced over be by the cleaners.
Situation aside, it was a average room, aside from the trash on the floor. Hard to judge the situation having no idea how it happened, but I’m not sure if I’ll be returning.

This is not a place you would want to go to. There are several other hotels that are cheaper and cleaner. Poor service, rude owner. Good day.

My wife and our son stayed here last night for our nephews football game when we called we were told it would be 75 a night we put a reservation got there and was told a higher price. Later that night my wife was using the restroom and saw a massive roach on the wall I will attach a photo later told the owner he said it was the city’s problem what a real piece of shit place this is don’t recommend this place at all I would rather sleep on the floor outside

Stayed here last night and as soon as I got into the room I checked the pillows and sheets to make sure they were clean sure enough found some sticky stuff on my pillow. Took it to the front desk and showed the owner and he said I need to be careful when eating on the bed. Excuse me I just checked in 2 seconds ago?! He said someone would bring me new pillows no one ever came. Then I go to lock the door there’s no lock in the deadbolt wtf! Then this morning I go to take a shower and there’s a HUGE cockaroach just chillen on the ceiling looking at me. Fckn nasty ass overpriced place with shitty service. You’re better off paying a few more bucks to stay somewhere clean

Highly don’t recommend. Place is dirty and located in a very ugly neighborhood. When we got in our room it smelled so bad we couldn’t even use restroom. After finally going in it my wife noticed crap behind toilet and all around toilet bowl. We told owner and he said maybe your kid had an accident. They sent a guy up that spent ½ hour scrubbing with a stone and brush while we were having a burger outside room.

Well… I consider ourselves to be pretty easy going with motel level accommodations as long as it clean and comfortable. This definitely fell way short of any of that. It was nasty and gave me the creepy crawlies. We paid $ 120 for one night of disgust. Do not stay here unless you are so horribly desperate and have no choice.

This place is lame, and the manager is disrespectful! I wouldn’t suggest it. Very stereotypical indian manager.

If I could give it zero stars I would. This is my first review because I don’t easily review places. The gentleman on the phone was rude, since I had to call twice he seemed very annoyed. I had a lot of guests at my house for my mothers funeral and I was gonna pay for my aunt and uncle stay there to free up some room at home. When I went in person along with my cousin, to pay for the room (without my aunt and uncle, they were on their way) the lady was extremely rude and asked if I was having a party. She assumed because me and my cousin looked young (I’m 24) that we were gonna have a party. I let her know that was not the purpose the room was not even for me but for my aunt and uncle. She continuing to be very rude took the pencil I was writing with on the little card they provide you and snatched it out of my hand and said my aunt and uncle had to write it not me, even tho I was paying. Next day I find out that the room reeked so bad my family had to put their car freshener on the bed stand because the smell was unbearable. They were embarrassed to let me know cus they felt bad I had paid. My family had to deal with the smell because they do not speak English. I would never in one thousand years stay their or deal with the owners. I truly wonder how they keep their business running with that kind of customer service.

The other reviews are true. The Indian owner named Daven not only has an attitude problem, but is also extremely rude, and a liar. He hangs up the phone on you, and if you go to speak to him he will say his pet line «who cares?» to anything you say. He will then call you an idiot, and after saying he will give you a refund to get outta here, he will take your credit card and charge you for an extra day instead. You will then have to dispute a claim with your credit card company. It’s not worth it. I wouldn’t stay here again if someone paid me to.

The owner is from India and yes he gives the Indian people a bad name. My best friend is Indian and I explained how dirty the hotel was and he said most are lazy and don’t want to clean. If you are renting a room you should be able to do anything. sign on walls turn off lights, turn off a/​c. The couch you hit it and a puff of dust comes up into my face… I called for extra pillows because the pillows were so thin felt like I was laying on a flat blanket. I asked for 2 and they brought me one and had an excuse that the rest were in laundry.
I stayed here 3 nights 4 days and I didn’t ask for them to clean my room and they didn’t either. I got 2 towels first day Thursday I used one Thursday and Friday I called on Saturday morning to get clean towels and had to be at my event by 9am and the owner tells me. I had to wait until after 11am for the house keepers. I was so frustrated.
No clean towels, no pillows. no service… If you want cheap and dirty please stay here. Other wise stay at motel 6 it would be better… Oh another thing. they have old locks on the doors as it is a key entry. I came back to my curtains open and nothing done to my room so why enter my room??? what were they looking for? Be careful…

The owner is a dumb piece of shit go back to your county plus all your rooms are awful dont stay here not worth it

My rooms when I stayed there over a few years while on business was enjoyable. I was quiet next to the movie in n out for burgers.
Decent rates room was clean i actually like the cleanliness and nice beds for sleeping.
I have met the owner maybe he was having a a bad day but he was always nice to me.
I would return.

First off. I seen something that looked like blood on the wall. I also had a random call by a person on the motel phone offering adult services. At the end of my lovely stay I was forced out with a 9am call on Sunday morning with a rude tone and language telling me to check out «I have other reservations» «I’ve been in business for 20 years!»

Take it from me I was just there on 7÷25÷14 with my kids and husband and I thought ok its not sooo bad… Well I woke up this morning and noticed that I had bites all over me!!! BED BUG BITES!!! I live in San Diego and I noticed them when I got home… I called the office and the owner kept hanging up on me after I told him that I had stayed there last night and now I have bites ALL over me… He would not talk to me… Finally I threatened a LAWSUIT!!! I told him after he had said «Willow Tree Lodge How may I help you» I said «LAWSUIT OR TALK TO ME NOW!!! and he said what is it? I told him I had bites all over and all he has to do is talk to me… Nope he hung up on me AGAIN!!! I BEG YOU NOT TO GO THERE AND STAY! I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE THE ONLY ONE WHO GOT BITES… THANK GOD!!!

Unfortunately I will not have my family and friends booked here during our festivities. I called to book a room block, spoke with a gentlemen whom I assume is the owner. Was told no very quickly without trying to work with me and he disconnected the call abruptly. If you would like to go out of business, please continue to use this ethic. You have a nice web page, an awful attitude and horrible customer service. Shameful. Your reputation for a dingy, rude, unfriendly etc. will continue.

I can see many negative reviews and they are all true. Stay away from this place.

I paid for weeks while I waited for my new place to be ready. I needed one more night to stay and he said NO… you are trouble. I am wondering if I can report this place to Better Business Bureau. Wish I would have read reviews before stayed here.

Don’t go to this place at all. I booked this place for 2 nights, later I found out that I couldn’t bring more than 1 person with me in the room. I ignored it since ALL the motels I’ve been in don’t care at all and my friends were tired from a concert. We went to get something to eat late night and this lady was giving us a bad attitude, saying no visitors, my friend told us not to mind her since he’s been here more than once, he said she works here and she was a tweaker… WTF? And later on when everyone was asleep, at around 4am the owner called me and asked who was in the room with me? WTF is that? We weren’t even being loud and nothing was broken, or more like we didn’t break anything that wasn’t broken. The whole room was dirty when I got in there. The sheets smelt so bad, the vent in the bathroom was dirty. The TV picture quality was fuzzy (until I banged it on the side).
At check out time the tweaker lady said, «do me a favor, don’t come back here again». Later that day the owner left me a voicemail saying condescending thingsand threaten me with police, saying that I was trespassing? He took my money I get to do whatever I want with the room as long as it isn’t destructive or disturbing.
Overall, this is the worst establishment I have ever set my foot on, let alone the filthiest. I would recommend staying far away from as possible, unless you want an angry tweaker and greedy middle eastern barking at you at random hours of the day. Horrible Staff, horrible housekeeping. Go to a motel 6 instead its about the same price, cleaner, and they can care less who you bring in with you.

The (moldy) cherry on top was: We got woken up by some loud noises very early in the morning (around 8:30), it seriously sounded like if someone tried to get through the walls of our room by using a hammer, calling the front the person explained to us in a very rude way that they were doing some work in the room and that it is legal to do construction works at this time of the day (no excuse, nothing!). It might be legal but it’s definitely not customer friendly!!!
