Webinetry Custom Cabinetry

This place is not honest and attempts to conduct unscrupulous and bullying business tactics. I bet if they try to respond to this you’ll get to see a clear example. First problem is that they do not honestly disclose their prices on the website. After I provided them with measurements and asked for a quote, the price I received was double of what is advertised on their website. Upon inquiring about this, their unhappy and snarky Director of Customer Service & Design Center, Laura, stated that the prices had doubled over the years but they never bothered to update the website.
The second problem is after a tedious drive to the depressing edges of Fullerton you’d find that their «showroom» is actually a small depressing place with nothing more than a limited variety of small kitchen model portions coupled with a wall of cabinet sample pieces.
Third (and the biggest) problem is Laura herself. She should not have ‘customer service’ or ‘design’ anywhere near her job title. As a designer she is unimaginative, only capable of creating basic designs that are contrived to only meet the company’s needs of quick, easy, and cheap manufacturing. Other cabinet and kitchen designers I’ve consulted with have been able to offer more creative and aesthetically pleasing designs.
The NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) should be embarrassed of her accreditation with them. Laura also could only refer me to one contractor she «swears by» and insisted I consult with him for exact measurements (for a fee) before she would do any further work. In addition, once Laura learned that she wasn’t the only designer/​manufacturer I was considering for the job and learned who the others were, she took it upon herself to contact them directly and cancel my appointments with them, without my permission. She also stated that she would not work directly with me and when I asked her what was the problem, she stated that I had been working with another designer that is their client so that is who I have to order the cabinets with. Therefore, she was attempting to push me to purchase the cabinets from a designer who quoted me a significantly higher price than she did for the same cabinets!
It’s shocking to learn that the kitchen cabinet business is actually a private cartel and a company like Webinetry believes that they have the authority to dictate with who and how the consumer will do business with them. Fortunately, intelligent and savvy shoppers like all of us here on Unilocal know better.

So after much back and forth, our cabinets were finally delivered on July 9^th. To give credit to the company, because of the delays they ended up FLYING the cabinets in.
Still, took 100 days to get out cabinets. Worse yet, we were missing one cabinet entirely, a few doors and a few pieces missing or just wrong. The company has agreed to send the missing parts ASAP, so theyre trying.
As for the cabinets themselves, I dont have any complaints there. Cabinet build quality is great, they look great, theyre solid and straight, all slides and hinges work. I’ll give them one more star for that…
