Loved this place. Very similar atmosphere to the Covina location but with Full liquor options. Amazing beer and whiskey selection. Hot bartenders. Unique décor. Has the right amount of comfort but also a little divey to make you feel right at home. Oh and there’s a pizza spot next door

I love the Fullerton Republic as much as I love the Covina Republic. Well, perhaps I love this location a bit more because you can order more than just craft beers. The State of California & the City of Fullerton granted this location a FULL liquor license.
Don’t get me wrong. I love a good craft beer, but sometimes a girl craves some whiskey or tequila shots. The bartenders here also create some tasty mixed drinks.
Now my only decisions involve deciding between the Covina & Fullerton locations. Either way, I know that I’ll enjoy myself.

Third time here in the past couple weeks. So glad that a place like this exists outside of the main area of Downtown Fullerton.

I’m sure this place is gonna be packed as soon as the word gets out. Which isn’t really a con for them.
Overall:
Staff is super friendly, the clientele is laid back. I’ll definitely be a regular.

The Republic Fullerton is a much needed addition to the area because cool dive bars in Orange County are so few and far between the ubiquitously bland, corporate bars.
I always have loved The Republic Bar in Covina, and this one is equally cool but with a full bar.
So, if you want to imbibe great craft brews AND some expertly mixed drinks in Fullerton, stop here.

After playing like kids at Disneyland during this past weekend’s road trip to «the happiest place on earth», we decided to have some adult fun at this Orange County edition of The Republic.
I love The Republic Bar in Covina, which thus far has been my favorite dive bar in Southern California, but The Republic Fullerton in some ways is even better than the original.
In addition to the great selection of craft beers that I have come to expect of The Republic, this version also serves mixed drinks and shots. We used Über. So, we took full advantage of the tasty shots served by Kyle and Joe, interspersed with some great craft IPAs.
We shall return on our next trip to Orange County.

YES! It finally is here!
I’ve loved going to The Republic in Covina for a while now, and I’ve been waiting not so patiently for it to open a second bar closer to me in Fullerton.
The guys opened this location earlier this week, and I already am becoming a regular here. I love the more open layout and the cushioned booth in the back.
I also love that this Republic is a FULL bar. I love craft beers, but some times I just want a nice cocktail for a change.
Parking is not as plentiful as the Republic Covina, but it has not been a big problem.

My boyfriend and I checked out this latest version of The Republic on Saturday night, and I happily report that the experience is just as wonderful as the Covina bar, but with a FULL bar.
Kyle, Joe, Gabriel, and Nino worked hard to get this location up and running, and their efforts really show.
It’s a wonderful setting with the same cool vibes and atmosphere as the bar in Covina, but this place is much more spacious.

Nice new bar. A little off the beaten path, but still close to downtown Fullerton. Awesome draft beer and whiskey selection is what caught my attention. They don’t serve food, but they let you bring in whatever food you like. Great pizza place next door too.

New spot in town! Great selection of craft beers on tap. Their craft cocktail menu is great. You definitely need to try the Il Duce. I can’t wait to try the whole menu. Close to downtown Fullerton but not as douchey.

Last night, we went to this newest location of The Republic, and it was great, just like the one in Covina. It has a great vibe, and the bartenders here serve a full bar, so you are not limited to just craft beers, unlike The Republic in Covina.
We definitely will return whenever we are in the Fullerton area.

West Covina, CA
I stopped by The Republic Fullerton on Wednesday night for its soft opening, and it was great!
The layout is more open than its sister location in Covina, but the vibe still is what I love: relaxed, cool staff, dart boards, wonderful craft beers, and a cool juke box with diverse tunes.
From what I understand, this Republic location will have live bands, too, some time in the spring of 2016.
This location also offers hard liquor, which many patrons seemed to enjoy. I am not a hard liquor drinker, but i saw a lot of smiling faces imbibing Kyle and Nino’s concoctions.
So, if you are in Orange County and want a great bar, stop by The Republic Fullerton.

New bar in Fullerton and it’s awesome! This place has a full bar and lots of draft beer selections. Word to the wise try the «Lick My Chile» drink… so good!
