Good food. I had the al pastor tacos. Great flavor. The rice was moist and not sticky. The beans tasted fresh. My daughter had the chicken enchiladas. She enjoyed them. This pkace needs a little updating. Service is prompt. Not too long a wait. Staff friendly. And spoke to us in English. Most places start off in Spanish.

The worst place to go get carne asada nachos, nothing but beans don’t go-there unless u want to pay for Carne asada nachos and instead you get beans nachos. When we call to complain they where very rude and the manager«Luis«refused to talk to me when I clearly heard the girl telling him I wanted to talk to him.

Most disgusting mexican food in town. I dont know how this place stays in business. The customer service sucks. One staff member had the nerve to follow my daughter home because she wasnt charged for guacamaole. Thats creepy and extremely unheard of. What kind of place is this…

First time here– apparently my parents have been coming here and never said anything. Everything we ordered was delicious. The juke box is extremely loud, but in good at tuning out noise so it didn’t bother me.

The TV was really loud with a novela and there was hip hop music blasting from somewhere else. Not a good atmosphere. I got one of the lunch specials, 4 tacos and a drink for $ 6. The price wasn’t bad, but the tacos took a long time to come out(even though the place was empty) and they tasted very bland. The drink was small, and when I stood up to get a refill, there was no one there to serve me(the soda machine is behind the counter). I waited about 2 minutes and left.

Worst soft tacos I have had in a long time. No flavor to the carne asada, no matter how much salsa you dump on it. No air conditioning made the visit complete. Not as clean as I’d like, and all but one of the employees were just BS’ing and looking the other way. Parking is one big guessing game, as the lot has not been painted in decades. Go elsewhere is my recommendation, unless you love bland tasteless food and slow service by unhappy people.

Personally, I think this place offers the best authentic burritos… Always pass by and the asada burrito. So delicious! In n out in in less than 8 min very reasonable price, not greasy or extra $ for beans or rice. Taste reminds me of moms homemade food… The BEST!

They have a Tuesday 2 tacos for $ 1.00 special. However the Tuesday tacos are tiny so I ordered the regular tacos off the menu for $ 1.39 each. They were midling. They tasted good but th emeat had obviously been sitting arounf. The tortillas were soft in some areas and hard in others. On a previous visit I had a burrito, it was not good. On yet another previous visit I had a breakfast burrito, weird and terrible, This place was good about 3 years ago so it may be under new management.

Lived in the area for a long time and we constantly have to go to Garden Grove or Santa Ana for good Mexican food. Foun this hole in the wall and it’s definitely become a gold mine! Great prices, portions, and delicious taste! I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

I live extremely close to this restaurant and I drive by all the time. So after 4 years of living in the area I finally decided to walk over and give it a shot. Portions are very reasonable and the food looks really tasty when you first get it but the taste sure was disappointing. This food is extremely greasy! Now I know that Mexican food especially in small restaurants can be a little heavy on the lard or oil but this meal was soaking in grease. I had the beef tripe(tripas) quesadilla and for only a dollar I added rice and beans. The rice was not that fresh since it was kind of stale and I may add kind of crunchy. The fried beans were good although it is really difficult for most restaurants to mess up fried beans, especially if it comes out of a can. They did stuff the quesadilla with meat and cheese, but again grease just drips down as you pick it up from the plate and chew on it. This is perhaps the most unhealthy quesadilla I have ever eaten. Although it was stuffed with meat and cheese it was a little hard to swallow because the amount of oil they used(not sure if its canola, vegetable, or even lard) to cook the beef tripe overpowered the taste of the meal. Thankfully I had a good ol’ Mexican coke to wash it down. I even added lime and tapatio to add more flavor but the oil was just way too much. The establishment itself is a complete hole in the wall. It seems relatively clean and the cashier(looked like he could be the owner or manager) was a really nice guy. Unfortunately the guy who dropped off the food came straight out of the kitchen and quickly dropped off the food and dashed out without saying«enjoy» or even mused me with a smile. Overall for a hole in the wall Mexican fast joint experience people should just stick to Taqueria De Anda. It’s a good thing I walked to the restaurant and back because I felt really gross right after and I needed to walk off the meal.

not very good. Its just whatever. Had the carne asada and fish taco. these were street taco sized and they cost anywhere from 1.39 to 2 dollars. On weekends they have a 99 cent taco deal. So i came in here on a Friday with family. I ordered my food and instead of charging me 99 cent a taco the lady charged me full price. I just ignored that because its freaken chump change; might as well just consider it tip money. So much for the promo. fish taco was not good; no special sauce or tartar sauce; some places put mayo, some places put sour cream. this place puts a green salsa on their fish tacos; was not good. carne asada was some where between bad and mediocre; meat was; not flavorful; a bit rough. the red sauce on it was decent though. i guess you get what you pay for. there are definitely better places to go to in fullerton for mexican food.

Ever since I moved to California from SWTX I’ve been meaning to find a Mexican restaurant that can cater to my breakfast taco cravings. My idea of a breakfast taco includes spicy sausage with potato, egg with potato, egg with spicy sausage, etc. And after a lot of searching I finally found it. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Orange County. I keep their menu and business card in my purse and another at work. They know me as la guerita that speaks Spanish. The food is great for any time of day, but I visit during breakfast and lunch time. I usually order the combo plate which always comes with Spanish rice and refried beans. Although the bulk of the plate are the two tacos, you can order just the meat(i.e. carne asada, chicken, etc). I get either two carne asada tacos with everything(cilantro, onions, and green/red chile) or chorizo con papa(spicy sausage with potato) tacos. All of this for $ 5.43 is not bad. You can include a drink I guess and a flan too, but the plate itself normally fills me(BUTTHEFLANISAMAZING! It tastes way better than Northgate Market flan). Their quesadillas are good too — both chicken and carne asada. They are large, cover the entire plate. They are thick and drenched in grease and filled with cheese with good portions of chicken or carne asada. The food comes out fast and you can order ahead of time and just pick it up if you’re in a rush. Their liquado de platano(banana milkshake) is delicious. They have a lot of other selections of food, but I’m not very adventurous. They have soups and burritos, shrimp tacos, etc. *Update Dec. 2011: They also have chicken or beef flautas(«tacos dorados»). Basically they are tightly-wrapped tacos with your choice of chicken or beef, fried in oil, making the outside of the taco crispy. I’ve only tried the beef ones so far, but they are so good!!! It comes with 4 flautas(or tacos) with sour cream on top and guacamole sauce on the side, on a bed of lettuce, and a side of Spanish rice and refried beans, as usual. This is NOT a place for a date. This is a place for great food only!

Sometimes you gotta gamble big to win big. I’ve been driving by this place for the last billion years and finally I sacked up today and went in. It was deserted, which I thought was strange, but I thought it was a slow and cold Monday evening. The décor is predominately of beer company freebies and vinyl booths. Having no idea what to order, I rolled the dice and asked the cashier’s opinions on the house specialities. I don’t think they get many of asians in these parts of the hood especially at this time of the day. She kind of blankly stared at me and said that the carne and pastor were good. Ok, pastor burrito it was.(I think it was $ 5) The food was prepared quickly and it came out looking delicious. I uncapped the tapatio in readiness and took my first bite. It wasn’t nasty, but it was a whole lot of frijoles. Even after several bites, I still got a lot of beans. Did I just order and bean and cheese? I finally got to some pastor, which was overally diced and salted. Overall, I felt cheated. If I survive the night, I may(that’s a big maybe), try this place again in the future. But in retrospect, I lost my wager and taco bell would have been a better option.
