Sprouts Photography

I found Renee at Sprouts through an online promotion. I have 4 boys and I requested an outdoor photo shoot. Renee took some group shots as well as individuals. Her patience was nothing less than amazing. Did I mention I have 4 boys? At the time they were age 1 through 12. I left the location choice up to Renee and the setting was perfect, pictures turned out gorgeous! Give her a try, you’ll be happy you did!

Love love love Renee! She’s so great with the kids. She’s not too cool to do what’s necessary to make them smile — and that is crucial in a kid’s photographer.
We have had her do a baby shoot and a six month shoot, both complicated by adding the older sibling. We had another photographer tell us that he couldn’t put the older brother in the newborn shot because it was too hard, but Renee did it and got the most incredible shots.
She’s patient and has a great eye — I asked for input on which bow to put on my little girl, and the one she chose looked way better (we ended up doing some shots with each.) If you’re doing a newborn shoot, I recommend bringing some props and some changes of clothes so you can get the best possible outcome.
Whenever anyone I know is pregnant, I recommend Renee. One of my big regrets is not doing professional shots with the first child (we though taking a million pics ourselves was enough, but it’s just not the same.) I wish I’d known about Sprouts then. We’ll definitely be back regularly for family shots.

Renee and her crew take absolutely amazing and gorgeous pictures. My husband and I had the hardest time choosing photos to actually print. We would have loved to have all of them either printed or put on a cd, unfortunately her prices are quite expensive.

Found Renee through some daily deal site. We actually purchased two deals for photographers from deal sites. I will review the other one shortly.
We came in skeptical because of a bad experience with the other photography package deal. Renee was very accomodating (we were going to have to use the voucher for maternity pics because of the expiration date, but Renee said «I *love* shooting newborns and will extend it as needed if you’ll let me do the shots.»
She was true to her word and accomodated us on short notice because the baby came earlier than planned. She and her staff were awesome. We really wanted to get our files because we mostly want them to share with family electronically. She has a newborn package which includes maternity plus three other sessions. Though her prints and other products are indeed pricey, if you agree to spend a certain amount you get the files from all four sessions at no additional charge.
The other photographer we had a deal for wanted $ 500 for one session of digital files and his didn’t come out nearly as nice or varied. And the quality on the large print we purchased from the first shoot was incredible and will be in our home for decades.
We are likely to use Renee and Sprouts for all our important family pictures in the future, even though it is a long drive for us and our kids.

Print images are costly, and she’s unable to do a online proof, but she’s a great photographer, that’s willing to take the time to make sure you’re completely satisfied with all your images.

I got engagement pics done with Renee. The pictures themselves turned out wonderful! the reason i give her only 3 stars is her service. she was repeatedly hard to get a hold of. we originally contacted her to get our pics done in oct/​nov. after convincing her that we couldn’t take the pics after sunset, we finally got our pics taken in november. it took a couple of weeks to see proofs, another couple of weeks to get the one digital photo from our package, and another month or so before we got our physical print. after we got a hold of her, she told us we needed to pay to get our picture. she finally gave in and shipped us the picture which was very nice, but it was months after our photo session. as a result i’m not sure i would use her again.

We loved Sprouts! We had our newborn photos done by Renee in her pristine studio when our baby was 14 days old.
Renee was very well prepared and sent us a tip sheet before the session with lots if helpful hints on how to prepare the baby and us for the shoot which lowered any anxiety and answered all my questions. When we arrived we were so pleased with Renee’s «baby whisperer» abilities. Due to her suggestions, our baby slept the entire 1.5 hour shoot and through several costume and set changes! Our photos came out so beautiful! We could not have chosen a better photographer! Looking forward to the rest of our baby plan package with sittings for 6 month and one year sessions to come!

Let me just start by saying that I really put myself in a pickle on a timeline for a project I was working on. I was basically out of time and when I talked to the good folks at sprouts; they jumped through hoops to accomodate me!
Renee is not only an amazing photographer, she is one multi-​talented gal! Her graphics background really came in handy when it came to my project and she had so many good ideas for me that I was beside myself.
I am lucky to know many talented artists (of all mediums) but Renee has a knack for everything else too.
Did I mention that her studio is so darling and really cozy? If you are looking for amazing children’s photos, engagment photos, or pretty much anything else… call Sprouts!

Renee did a wonderful job on our family portraits. She is so personable and enthusiastic. Renee was able to easily connect with my shy daughter, and bring out Katie’s true personality. Renee’s prices were very reasonable, and I would highly recommend using her.

I absolutely love Sprouts Photography! My husband and I took our family pictures with Renee and they came out beautifully. She captured the most beautiful pictures ever:) at I was really shock to know that her prices were in our budget. She has the cutest studio in Fullerton that feels like home. I am so pleased with my pictures and now I can display them in our house Thank you soooo much, Renee!

Sprouts Photography is amazing. Renee was so wonderful with my 15-​month-​old. She never rushed us and was so patient; I knew she would take as much time as we needed to get the perfect shots. As a mom herself, she really knows kids and how they work. Other photo sessions have left my son in tears but neither one of us ever felt frustrated with Renee.
She’s very «hands-​off» as far as forcing poses or creating artificial situations. We arranged a few things, and then just let my son be himself as she snapped away. She never waited for that «right moment» to take the picture, so she never missed a great moment. The photos of my son are more than just pictures – they’re art that we can cherish forever.
I used to have his pictures taken at Sears. That was fine, but now I wish I’d captured some of those moments with Sprouts. You can never get this time back, and I really think that top-​notch photographs are the closest you can come to freezing time. My son’s pictures are just bursting with personality, and those are the images I want captured forever. I give Sprouts my highest recommendation.
