History

Established in 2012.

The Fullerton Sport Clips franchised store in the Morningside Plaza at Bastanchury & Brea Blvd opened in June of 2012 and is independently owned by Orange County residents. Sport Clips is a sports-​themed hair-​care franchise primarily for men and boys with more than 1,200 stores across the United States. Sport Clips was established in 1993 by Founder and CEO Gordon Logan.

Sport Clips is also the «Official Haircutter» of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and offer veterans preferential pricing on haircuts. In 2013, Sport Clips partnered with the VFW to expand the focus of our national «Help A Hero» fundraising campaign to introduce the VFW’s «Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship» program. The program provides veterans scholarships for use at post-​secondary schools, including trade schools, to help make the transition from military life to the civilian workplace a little easier. The Help a Hero campaign runs mid-​Oct through Veterans Day.

Came here because they were passing out free haircut coupons to use.
My barber was a girl named Andie who was very friendly and didn’t make the experience an awkward silent cut.
It was a very fast haircut compared to most I’ve had in the area and felt a bit rushed to me even though it was a pretty empty day.
Got complimentary massage and shampoo done in the back of the main barber area which is nice but it will cost you extra if you don’t have a coupon.
Overall, if you’ve got the money which is about $ 24 for the MVP I think then by all means this is a great place to go! However, it felt like a rushed cut to me and I think as a guy there are a lot cheaper options in the Fullerton/​Brea area if you just go looking around.
I think the main reason people will come here is more so for the name brand and the sports kind of environment the place has.
But to be fair, its not worth the $ 24 plus tip for a haircut.

Came in for a haircut for the first time at this location. Upon entering I was greeted and sat down within minutes for my haircut. The cut was extremely fine and down to the razor. Since it was a first time customer I was upgraded to a lovely hot fave towel and shampoo wash. When leaving I was very satisfied with my cut and will come back in the near future for another.

Great barbershop. They cut as requested. I love the free neck trim. You can do that a week or so after your haircut. It keeps a fresh look all the time. Ask for Kaylee. While everyone is well qualified, Kaylee’s best!

Went into this establishment 3 days ago. Giselle took care of me. She gave me an awesome haircut, a relaxing shampoo and a pleasant conversation. Never would have guessed she was an expert on politics and current events ! She kept a neat and clean work area and her Clippers were nice and leveled. No nicks from the clipper head! Giselle also asked and listened to how I wanted my haircut and executed perfectly. Good job! see you in 2 weeks

Such a great experience. I am not a fan of haircut chains but this experience definitely changed my outlook. The staff there was great and the environment was very inviting! Alice did a great job and was very attentive to my needs.

I really like how Melissa takes the time to listen how I want my hair cut. She will add suggestions that helps my haircut come out just right. I never feel rushed or like a number when I get my hair cut by Melissa. I will continue to keep going to SportClips for a very long time. I’m a female and usually sports clips is for men, but I’ve heard so many good things about Alice Lombardi that I had to go get my hair done by her. Let me tell you a little bit about my hair, I’ve been trying to get a specific type of faux hawk for a while but nobody could do it right. I went to here and she nailed it. I recommend Alice Lombardi! She has years of experience and is a joy to talk to as well!

I’ve been loyal to my local barber for 20+ years.
He is getting a little old at «80 something» to continue his profession. …
With that said; my first experience at sports clip was amazing!
Not only was the décor unique, the waiting room with flat screen televisions, sports activities on for the viewing, magazine rack filled with all the current sports magazines. … But the service was impeccable! I received the full «mvp» treatment, and was catered to by Alice. Let me tell you, she knows a thing or two when it comes to cutting hair. She is quick, informative, and has some mad skills with shears & clippers in hand. The staff was prompt, curtious, and the place was spotless! My complete experience at sport clips was a wonderful experience. I will return.
All in all, I give my experience an A+.

My one and only choice for a haircut. Been going since 2013 to the same stylist, Kat, the awesome manager of this location. She is dedicated to her job and always takes care of her clients. Once I was there and she had 5 clients who were waiting for her and only her. She takes the time to get your hair done right and also does a lovely job with shampoo and massage. She’ll also put the TV on fun things like Formula 1 or MotoGP if you ask nicely, and hockey takes precedent over football, as it should be. The rest of the ladies working there are very nice (shoutout to Alice!) So, overall this Sport Clips has a great atmosphere and you should go here to spend your hard earned money on a great haircut!

Alice is the only lady hair who knows how to cut hair, all the other ladies are nice but I received horrible haircuts from them. The wait is always long and they’re disorganized. I used to come here because they were 3 minutes away from my house but waiting an hr defeats the purpose. Will not return

After one too many bad hair cuts here I will never come back. They usually have 2 of their 8 stations open. And while you get your hair cut one of the gals is usually vacuuming hair from the floor, always good for a relaxing haircut. It’s obvious the owners of this place think they can cut costs on talent and invest it in the décor. Don’t get me wrong, the shop looks great, but it lacks in every other arena.
