Cool area of Downtown Fullerton. FREEPARKING and loads of it. Walking around this area is great. Nice shops. Great dining and bars; some with outdoor seating, sporting events on TVs and microbrews on tap. Not a bad place to be anytime but I love it in the afternoon on a sunny day. Nightlife is fun, daytime is pretty chill as well. Perfect addition to DTF! CHEERS!

this is aort of hard to make a review for because it is mostly a hub that there are several different bars inside. but it’s where i usually park. some people get frustrated with this location when parking but I think that it’s good if you know where to go. either way, there will normally be pakring there.

I have been enjoying Downtown Fullerton more lately and SOCO District has been a cute addition. I didn’t realize it was a «separate» entity until I drove there this past weekend to attend a fundraising event that I noticed the signage. It’s a good place for a nice stroll on a cool summer night. We walked around later in the evening(about 9pm) on a Saturday and the streets were almost empty. The streets are lined with tons of bars and affordable dining, so most people were enjoying themselves inside. The trees were well lit, and it was quiet with the exemption of the occasional vehicle filled with young college dudes blasting their music and making their car bounce(LOL). The buildings seem to have maintained their old look, thus keeping the area feel like«old town». I would probably even call it «anti-mall» with second hand shops, arts & crafts stores, and costume rental venues — if you are looking for the hottest runway look — this is definitely not the place. The people walking around also tend to prioritize comfort over high fashion. Guys with their«hipster» look(ie., skinny jeans, glasses, and scarves) and girls in floral rompers and flats. Most the shops are closed, but the restaurants/bars are filled. There are also many families enjoying food while watching the game at a few sports bars. Parking is very convenient with plenty of parking in the back of shops, and they are FREE! I highly recommend coming here for an unpretentious night with good friends looking for a fun and comfortable time.

A great addition to Downtown Fullerton since my last visit here. We met up with some old college friends for brunch and walked around«SOCO». Although it was close to a ghost town during our walk thru, my friends indicated that it was poppin’ at night. In fact, the night prior my friend did a drive by and he said that it was sooo packed with people and traffic along the streets. What’s great about this area that I noticed was that there’s ample FREE parking. I was amazed since in SD you have to pay for parking majority of the time. Also, I noticed that a lot of the business establishments here look small from the front, but the space runs deep. Business spaces are larger than what they appear to be. It was different — reminded me of NYC a bit. My friends live about 5 mins from here so will def be back to visit SOCO.
