Great outdoor seating, if you have a motorcycle you can park in the back. Selection of beer is somewhat limited but the patio and the service make up for that. Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon

Cool bar. Would like to come back when it’s jumpin. Came for lunch and a beer. Blondie behind the counter needs some customer service refresher since was curt with me. Answering quick and without attention — maybe she just came from a Starbucks job. Taps on order side were ½ of what was on tap in larger restaurant side but she quickly assured me that they were both exactly the same(like I was stoopid for asking). So I ordered of the few choices a Tricerahops even though I’m. Bored with IPAs. What do u know, the other side once I sat had double the amount and coulda enjoyed my sandwhich with an amber or red, etc instead of trendy IPAs. Also my pastrami didn’t taste like pastrami but like a momma bird had pre-chewed it. Num num. I’ll come back some day but I’ll call to make sure Starbucks isnt working and definitely eat somewhere else.

Only reviewing for the drinks because they are cheap for downtown Fullerton, which is great if you want to bar hop on a budget. Go out to the patio area and just go to town. You can get a soda glass filled to the brim with a well drink for about $ 7. Get used to the communal aspect because it gets packed and you will bump elbows. Hover over tables before someone else snatches up an opening. People will be(nicely) excusing themselves and putting their empty glasses on your table.

After a terrible experience at the pint house. Me and a buddy found roscos. We weeee hungry and thirsty. Delicious sandwiches(silly billy and fender club) generous portions. Oh and it gets better, frosty great beer, enjoyed the Danish red lager, it’s like drinking the maple nectar out of a mystical beer tree. 10⁄10 will go back and do it again.

My wife and i were having dinner in Beaune, France last week and happened to sit next to a couple who had lived in Fullerton for years, and Roscoe’s was their recommendation. Excellent corned beef sandwich! Friendly staff, quick service and good selection of tap beer. I’ll definitely be returning

Excellent! The corn beef was very lean and delicious. Service was very friendly and helpful. Lots of beers on tap so there is a good selection. We will definitely be back.

My favorite sandwich place! Move over Subway, Which Which, Jimmy John’s, or any other new sandwich place they’ve come out with, THIS is the place to try. Ordering is easy. You walk up, they take your order, you pay, and they hand you a «number.» Go sit wherever you want… they’ll find you. We usually gravitate towards the bar, because we can’t resist getting one of those huge gauntlets of beer every time we come. And there’s AC inside. The times when I crave this place, it’s usually hot outside. I don’t want to be out in that if I don’t have to be. My go-to order? The Fender Club. SPLIT A SANDWICH. Unless you have a serious appetite. When you split, it comes with two sides instead of one. We usually go for a bag of chips and the potato salad. They offer macaroni salad, fresh fruit, and a couple other options. The service here is awesome. They’re fast and efficient. No complaints here. They also have TV’s and pool tables in one room. Good for Monday Night Football or if you’re a fan of any sport with a game on, really. Grab a beer, split a sandwich, and enjoy!

The bar is pretty cool. The first big room typically has a band or some live musical performance. It’s pretty difficult to get the bartender’s attention in this first room, but just keep walking until you reach the second room and that bartender is much easier to get a drink from. They have I think around 9 beers on tap from what I could see, so ordered my Shocktop. Not only do they have that bigger room and the small room, but there’s an outdoor area so plenty of space to roam. The crowd is younger, probably mid twenties to early thirties since DTF attracts some of the college crowd from Cal State Fullerton and the junior college. It’s a very bro-y scene, so not my cup of tea. But a good place to bring a group to hang out in.

This is a review of the deli sandwiches for those seeking a hangover cure on a Sunday morning like I was. This deli does… it…RIGHT. They put huge portions of meat and equal portions of juicy flavory love in their sandwiches. I got a Reuben with pastrami AND corned beef… that’s right. Both. They let you get both. I’ve been eating reubens all wrong apparently cuz this sandwich was a whole different beast than what I’ve slaughtered in the past. Comes with a side so I was like meh whatever macaroni salad. No no no ladies and gentlemen, not«men whatever macaroni salad», more like hell Yaweh mmmmmother Mary and Joseph macaroni salad. Its on the sweeter side so I recommend it as dessert. Its that good. But what really got me about this place, besides the cool bar/pub atmosphere that let me accurately reminisce about the debaucherous rager I had last night, was I asked for a cup of water and they gave me a Jumbo size soft drink cup full of water. That’s just plain heartwarming and refreshing. They don’t mess around with those measly single shot espresso size cups of water you get everywhere else. So like I said… Rosco’s does it right. Eat a sandwich here, it will lift your spirits and change your world.

Its Downtown Fullerton.. DTF… so you know what to expect…80% guys… overly loud music… disgruntled bouncers haha. My visit was a Friday night for a friend from school’s birthday party. She chose this place because they have a band that played alot of country songs and some rock. The weird part was that in between the bands sets the would play hip hop… kinda funky. Anyways they serve the beer in these weird goblet glasses that look lik pimp chalices. Not a fan… but they were nice and cold so kudos for that. We had a big group, and I would say that this place is good for large groups(on the inside). In the back they have an outdoor patio that is really cool… but its crowded as all fuck with nitwits so I didn’t spend anytime out there. So didn’t try any food… but beers were like $ 8.50. I would like to play the shuffleboard over in the corner next time… this go around there was a dude in a full blown Captain America costume hogging it… its that type of place.

Roscoe’s Famous Deli should be named Roscoe’s Famous Bar. I felt that familiar pang of trepidation walking through the front door. It is smack in the middle of DTF. It is a famous«Deli» with not one, but two monstrous bars set before the actual Deli counter. People we slurring, swearing and shouting at 2pm on Sunday Funday. None of this has ever lead up to a great Pastrami in the past but I ordered at the counter regardless and ponied up $ 18.00 for the sandwich and an ice cold Ballast Point Big Eye IPA and hoped for the best. When the sandwich was laid before me I was impressed. A hulking mass of brined, seasoned and smoked red meat topped with swiss cheese and sandwiched between two mustard drenched piece of Rye. Maybe I was wrong to prejudge Roscoe’s? Maybe not. Stale bread. Dry meat. The swiss was cut far too thick and needed to be discarded. This pastrami in a word… sucked. Worst in class for 2015 and 2014. In fact, I can’t recall the last time I had a sandwich this bad at this price point($ 12.00). I could further dive into the details but there is really no point, just know that Roscoe’s puts together the mother of all Pastrami screw ups. Kind of frustrating. However, as a water hole goes, Roscoe’s can be a great deal of fun. The bartenders seemed to be heavy pours, the crowd was well lubricated by the early afternoon hours and nobody seemed to mind the over served. Not exactly my kind of establishment for a night out, but in my college years it may well have been. Let us wrap this up. Roscoe’s: Drinks — good. Food — bad. Fin!

Although this isn’t your normal deli style setting, it’s more of a bar, it does have great sandwiches and a great beer selection. I’d been sent here to order a Californian: combo pastrami and corned beef. I tried it but could not bring myself to place both types in my mouth together, opting instead to eat the P and CB halves(top& bottom) separately. I love P and CB, but together. I’m scared. Blt’s, Turkeys all looked good. Good sides including chili are included amking a $ 10 deal! Came back a week later for just a pastrami. Really good. I prefer it slightly over corned beef that is rather spicy. I now know of at least one good place in Fullerton.

This is our go to place after a nice 12 mile night ride at the Fullerton loop. I think my rider friends are attracted to the marriage of a beer and a sandwich and good conversation. Located in the SOTO area of DT Fullerton next to Heros and Joes offering prime parking if your cruising your 2 wheeler. We ride up, park and lock them up. Primo spots that allow us to dine outdoors within arms length and make sure our bikes are safe. If your in your smogmobile parking can be limited and you may have to walk a few feet. Sandwiches and a huge selection of beer here. Sandwiches are gianormious and even though I can eat a lot, I can never finish ny sammie. I prefer the cold ones. Either the Italian Job or the Salami sammy on rye. Its served with a side and a pickle slice. I get the potatoe salad which isnt as bad as people think. The beast gets the macaroni salad but ends up eating my salad. The outside area is smoke friendly which is kind of a bummer if you dont smoke. The outside area also provides a pretty good people watch show.
