Bad service! The two fat security guards are such assholes & have no respect for any customer. Never in my life will I be coming here again. Even fucken fast food places treat you better then these idiots! Do not recommend this place at all.

If you like fruit flies in your food, this is the PERFECT location for you! Went there on a Tuesday, our order on wings were covered in fruit flies. Our waitress had an attitude when we politely brought it to her attention. She never offered us a compensation. Avoid!!!

My girlfriend was in town and we took her out to see our lovely nightlife in the OC. We go Matador, Zings, 120 Bar, and then we get to Revolution where the young incompetent door kid refuses to let my cousin in due to the fact that he has never seen an ID out of California. She is from Indiana and he attempted to disassemble the card as it was a fake, he folded it, bent it, tried to pull it apart (mind you she needed her ID to fly home) and in the end refused to let her in. We ended going back to 120 Bar and had a blast where the DJ JoeUltra put her name on the tv screens and turned our negative experience into our best night out! Thank you to the sexy bar tender Omar at 120 Bar as well!

Fun place for young people. Lots of drugs happening. Perhaps overcapacity.

I have been here many times for their club nights (Friday’s, Saturday’s) and it’s always a good time. First time here for Taco Tuesday and definitely worth the visit!

Came here on a Friday night with my friends. The security guards were funny and nice! The only downside was the line to get in

Bartender charge me for 5 drinks, gave me 3. When I asked for a refund or my full drinks, he called security to escort me out. Shows the integrity of this place. Never going here again.

Sitting here having a Margarita, 2 guys are passed out on the patio and staff just left them there! Bad for business!

These wings shit on wing stop and bww. Half off during happy hour and 3 dollar sculpins?! Plus the bartender bought us a round of shots.

Hands down new favorite restaurant whenever I’m craving authentic Mexican food. Only restaurant I’ve been to where we sit ourselves and the service was extremely fast. We came in about 10 minutes prior to the happy hour cut off and Luis hooked me up with some house margaritas on the rocks while 10 minutes later was approached if I wanted another while having our appetizers in literally 10 minutes and our main entrees in 15 minutes. Hands down amazing service excellent food. Will definitely hit this place more regularly! Thanks Revolucion!

Horrible service.
Sat for 20 minutes, finally order was taken.
Add 25 more minutes to get «the lunch special».
No napkins or silverware, had to flag down another waitress to get some.
Gave up on the salsa I asked for… I mean, who wants salsa with their tacos…
No paper towels in the newly cleaned bathroom.
Forever to get the hill…
Place had gone downhill.
Will not be back.

This place doesn’t have a set drink menu out so the shitty bartenders charge you different prices on the same drinks. Oh and if you order top shelf make sure you watch them poor it cause twice we had the bartender try to pass off the cheap stuff as top shelf. Waste of $ 200. Never going back. It’s gets one star for the music.

I’m always DTF (DownTown Fullerton — LOL). So when Johnny K (the Duke of DTF), invited me here for Taco Tue w/​some other Unilocalers, I said: Count me in! Revolucion is on Harbor at Amerige in DTF.
I wouldn’t recommend coming here for the regular food, but the HH from 3 – 7, on Mon thru Sat is a deal! A number of premium beers are $ 3: Score!!!
The $ 1 tacos on Taco Tue were very good, and packed w/​meat. I had two al pastor, and two carnitas tacos. Both meats were nicely seasoned, and the meat was moist. The tacos combined w/​authentic items like peppers & carrots, onions & cilantro, and a few salsas makes Revolucion a good deal: 4 Stars. On the other hand, the nachos and wings were just OK. There wasn’t much special other than 50% off during HH: 3 Stars.
Regarding the ambiance, its very nice. There is a long bar, a few high chairs, and several tables. The clientele were chill, and offered our two ladies seats at the bar if they wanted: 4 Stars. On the other hand, the service from our bartender Danielle, and the night Mgr John was outstanding! She was attentive, accommodating, and a nice person. John knows Johnny K, and he gave us HH pricing all night.
If you are looking for a place w/​cheap beers, a good Taco Tue, and excellent service, Revolucion is your place. I’m sure you’ll make quick friends w/​the staff, because they are all really nice.

I haven’t been to the revo in a few years. Used to be full of drunk kids from Fullerton College, not my scene but still I ventured back and was pleasantly surprised.
I’m always down for a little happy hour food and a couple cold ones so when my buddy Bob T texted me about a little intimate birthday gathering you know I’m there.
As usual I was fashionably late and thought I missed out on happy hour however with like 5 min to go. No worries our waiter said no problem and hooked me up with two beers and a plate of fish tacos. $ 7 bucks well spent! That said I remembered why I used to be a fan of this place.
I mean who doesn’t love a couple of ice cold craft beers for two bucks apiece you got to be a fool to pass a deal like that up. And one dollar fish tacos, shit you can’t find them cheaper than that in Mexico. Not the best I’ve ever had, but no complaints either.
I had a nice time catching up with a few friends having a couple cold brews in a couple of tacos what a great hump day. Great service, good peeps, cheap food & drinks who could ask for more?
Then there’s this… When ya gotta go…
You know I’ll be back for some more of that.

DINING ONLY REVIEW:
Okay, I’m not sure why there is so much negativity about this restaurant in some of these reviews. First off, I dine out A LOT, and I go to an assortment of places from cheap dives to 5 star Michelin Star restaurants. So, I feel like a pretty good judge of eateries.
This place is far from a dive and it’s not Michelin Star quality either. It is your typical local bar & grill place that specializes in Mexican food.
We dined here on a weeknight and caught the tail end of Happy Hour. This was fine because we were really here for dinner not just happy hour. The Happy Hour is a killer deal. any draft beer is $ 3 and Margaritas (poured by hand not some mix like you get a El Torito) was only $ 4 and all the appetizers (except the platter) was ½ off. The Margarita was spot on… smooth and delicious (we get them on the rocks, not blended). I had beer, Guinness, and they poured it perfect with just the right amount of head. We also ordered the Guacamole. It was a good sized portion and tasted great.
For dinner, my husband order the Carne Asada platter and I ordered the Steak Fajitas. OMG… the carne asada was so delicious. It was seasoned perfectly and tender. The side dishes were Spanish rice and Black Beans (we could have ordered refried beans, but we are not big fans). My Fajitas came with tons of meat and veggies. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted very fresh.
I’ve eaten at all the Mexican chain restaurants and this place beats them ALL hands down. The bartender and and server the night we dined were great. Very friendly, helpful, and even comped us some drinks.
We will definitely be dining at Revolucion 1910 again… we used to go to Don Jose on rare occasions because we are NOT fans of El Torito, but now our new local Mexican food hangout will be Revolucion 1910.
FYI, my only complaint is that this location is NOT open on Sundays. We originally went to dine there on Sunday night and the placed was all in the dark and locked up. I know Sundays are not «hopping,» but people still gotta eat. So, that was a bit of bummer, but I’m glad we made it back on another day.

I had bookmarked this place for quick fix food but ended up here late night for their post-​restaurant «club.» I didn’t even realize until I opened this page to review it-​so I will be keeping this on bookmark for the food.
The line was pretty long but a fairly quick wait, 10 – 15 minutes? It was free entry and it had a club feel because there was a live dj and the majority of people were dancing on the small dance floor. For the size of the place, it was impressive how crowded it was, and yet I managed to get out without any drinks spilled on me or feet stepped on. Win! The music was a good mix of Spanish songs and top 40s, throwback American ones. I danced my heart away and left in a good mood. Can’t say I’ll be back, but I’m glad to have checked it out.

Good old revo. Great lunch specials $ 3 margaritas $ 4 beers. They always have their specials on the black board which is a wonderful .
The only complain is about the night life at revo. They have one extreamly rude bartender. I’m not sure what his name is but he has a scruffy beard. napy hair n looks like he doesn’t shower. He’s usually walking back n forth from their office to the end of the bar. He asks what u want n while making your drink he looking around trying to avoid you .,

Just stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for some margaritas! Nice bartenders, pretty chill atmosphere and decent margaritas, we would come back. Oh and if you order a Cadillac margarita it comes with a small individual bottle of GM tipped into the glass. Pretty cool! :)
