Prestige Mobile Salon For Dogs

I called this company looking for a groomer after trying to cut my shihtzu’s hair so has soooo many skin allergies and ear infections due to his allergies. I scheduled an appointment and was pleased to be able to get an appt right away in the afternoon when I was home from school.
I got a phone call about 4 hours BEFORE his appointment and i was at school asking if I was home to allow the groomer to cut Phantom’s hair… I said no… because my appointment was 4 hours later for the fact i wouldnt be home (strike 1)… when the girl showed up i explained to her that my dog had very sensitive skin and i could give her my shampoo she said NO WE USE OUR OWN MEDICATED SHAMPOO FOR THE DOGS… and i saw some young kid sitting in the front of the van… not a worker… looked as in street clothing (strike 2)… so she took my dog and about 1.5 hour later came back with him… wasnt’ all that pleased with the cut. It was pretty choppy, but I thought OK HELL BE MORE COMFY EITHER WAY… i started noticing right away that Phantom became EXTREMELY itchy as the day progressed… something he only does when his skin is irritated… i gave him a quick bath with his conditioner and allowed him to soak in after his skin became really red and irritated … I called the next day and spoke to the owner to ask what kind of shampoo was used on him for future references… and she said they used several different ones that are already mixed in big bottles not labeled… I explained to her what I had told the person when i first scheduled the appointment that he has really bad allergies and i prefer his own shampoo and conditioner used… and it was agreed on. then when the person showed up she told me they had their own MEDICATED shampoo and conditioner… when the person who said was the owner heard this… she told me that was impossible because they did not have any medicated shampoos or conditioners in stock…(strike 3 and final straw)
I told them that i was gonna cancel my appointment and further services with them because I felt i could not trust their company any more. the owner just said OK but never apologized or anything…
I only give this place 1 star because i have to… i would definetelly NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE… my dog’s skin was really irritated and became blistered in certain areas because of whatever products they used on his skin…
the fact that they LIED just makes me think what else goes on inside the vans when we the owners arent looking
