Small restaurant but always busy. Me and my family always went there for the great food and great customer service. Love it.

Awesome go to place for sushi. It’s always solid. The fish is pretty fresh and the chefs are really friendly. Sometimes the service is a little slow though. One time we were waiting to order and the waiter came by and asked us, «you guys already ordered right?». When we said no, he had to walk away to get a pad to take our order. But I still come back because I enjoy the food here. Favorite rolls are the OC roll, knock out roll, the cucumber wrapped roll with salmon. My favorite item here is definitely the salmon bowl(slightly thinner than sashimi)

Tiny little strip mall store, but amazing food. We come at least once a week and try something new every week! The Las Vegas rolls are my favorite. Deep fried roll. The Cowboy is interesting, as it comes with 5 California rolls smothered in a beef stir fry made up of thinly sliced beef, broccoli, cabbage, and bean sprouts. What an amazing combination. We love the crab stuffed mushrooms, deep fried tempura pickles and tempura jalapenos stuffed with crab and cream cheese. So many items on the menu left to try.

First time trying this location, and came away pretty happy. Tried 3 of the 5 dollar rolls, and they were all very good. We also got the chicken yaki soba cuz i love it and it not many places have it. It was great with lots of chicken and veggies. Prices are decent, we will be back!!!

Just a small sushi joint. Nothing too fancy schmancy. My friend had the Amber roll and I requested the unagi bowl even though it was not on their menu. I didn’t finish since it is a big serving, but it tasted delish! I enjoyed eating here!

I am a HUGE fan of Japanese food. In my opinion, Orange Roll & Sushi has decent priced sushi. After going to Disneyland, I would always to the OR&S in Anaheim, but their parking was terrible. I stumbled upon this location on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. Huge mistake. First of all, there is definitely more parking in the plaza and the food was decent. However, the restaurant was extremely small. I gave this place a 2-star because of the horrible service. There were two servers, and they didn’t know how to serve. Here are a few highlights of my evening: only 2 place settings when we have 4 people, our sushi did not come with wasabi, and when we asked for it, it didn’t come; we had to ask 2 more times. We asked for small plates so we can actually eat, but the plates never came. Even the food was decent, I would definitely not come back to this location. Customer service is an important part of dining out, and this location was sub-par.

Great little place. Super close to my house. I often come here for a quick lunch. Lots of great rolls with tons of fish and a tasty sauce. Garlic edamame is yummy. You can get any of their basic rolls as a hand roll for $ 1 off the price. Such a steal! Tons of fish! Service is good(the ladies are always polite and consistent) and the sushi chefs are friendly and smiling. Good prices, good quality.

I really enjoy eating here! I don’t live around the area, but when I’m in the area visiting I like making a pit stop here. Food taste great & prices are reasonable! I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box & what a deal it was for $ 9.95! Couldn’t even finish the whole meal & will be having it for lunch tomorrow. Came with tempura, salad, 4 pieces of cal rolls along with miso soup. Can’t argue the cost when they give a ton of food! Also ordered the golden shrimp tempura roll which was yummy, the sauce that came with it was bomb! We really enjoyed our meal! Everything on the menu looks delish! I’ve eaten other food items which taste great! This is a great hole in the wall restaurant! Don’t let the strip mall fool you that it’s some fast food Japanese place when it’s not! I’ve eaten at plenty of Japanese restaurants & this is the real deal & not no boot leg wannabe Japanese restaurant! I definitely recommend coming here, you’ll enjoy it as much as I do! Workers & cooks here are friendly! Can’t believe the place was empty especially on a Saturday night, only 1 couple was there tonight! This joint is usually packed & there is normally a wait which is why I decided to call in my order.

I had the 4 piece sushi lunch combo here which costs around 10.75 tax included. Comes with 8 piece roll of spicy tuna or california and a piece each of shrimp, tuna, salmon, and tilapia, and a side of miso soup. I got the spicy tuna roll version. The roll was pretty standard, not too spicy which was good. The shrimp and salmon tasted better than your average sushi/roll place but the tilapia and tuna were sub par. Miso soup also just standard which comes with the kelp and tofu. What I really liked tho is that the rice was well prepared. Not clumpy or soggy and just enough vinegar. Sushi tastes so differently depending on how the rice is prepared so I was pleasantly surprised that this place did it well. So overall this place is a 4 star restaurant for me.

We called before going as I’m craving for some salmon collar. The crew who answered me was helpful. Some restaurants only serve it once or twice a week. Luckily, they have one! So we went there and ordered salmon collar & rice, udon, spicy tuna roll, regular ramen & seafood ramen. Everything is perfect! The ramen were cooked just right. The seafood tastes fresh as well. We loved it! The roll was prepared well and cucumber is still crunchy. Yum! The salmon collar is just perfection! It’s tender and not dry at all. Can’t believe the serving is big for the price. That’s one more reason why we liked it a lot lol My 5 yr old daughter loves udon so we ordered that for her. She didnt only finish the noodles, she had a lot of soup too which is great! When we got home, she thanked me for our dinner and told me she enjoyed it a lot. She said she can still remember the taste and she’s looking forward to going back there. Their service is great as well. Thanks for the good food, Orange roll and sushi! We’ll be back soon!

I’ve never been to a sushi establishment that seemed more like a take-out fast food place and also that does not even serve sake. Small dining area that was pretty crowded so I figured it must be good. I had a scallop roll which was basic but yet still tasted fresh and also ordered one of the specialty rolls, the Monterey(sauce on the side). The servers were all very cool and attentive. Definitely a place for locals to frequent.

Twas in the area of Fullerton the other day, dropping my friend off after class when we decided we were gonna get some eats! And off to Orange Roll and Sushi we went :) We came in around 7.30 on a Wednesday evening, and the store was pretty empty here. We sat down and quickly were asked what to drink. Watah! The best drink out there :) You can get one of their combos, which is a roll + other stuff that I forget: P but it’s really worth it if you want to get something just for your yourself. Round robin method? You might want to get different rolls to try. Stinky roll– I had adored and loved the stinky roll that was over at Tustin, and I expected this to be the same quality(if not better). But this one was different. It had everything on it— minus the garlic sauce that was on there. That sauce tied this roll together, and it was very lacking. They had tons of onions on here though ._. OC Roll-shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, avocado. Salmon and sliced lemon outside. This was really interesting. Yes, the lemon that was outside kinda took over and was out of place, but I feel like its existence was only to accentuate the roll. It’s a very interesting flavor. The rest of the roll was good(shrimp tempura babyyy) Firecracker Roll– shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, avocado. Spicy tuna and crunch outside. Haha I liked this roll as well. It gave a little rush of spiciness that came at you, but you weren’t really expecting it until you ate it. The sauce here was magnificent and definitely was the right sauce to put in here. It’s about $ 10 a roll, and also know that seating is limited! Or be lucky and go at a time no one else is there: P Good service– they come regularly to check up on you!

Great in every way!!! It’s just way too small!!! I can maybe understand from the owners point of view. Maybe the place is small because their suchi is high quality and can only be made in small orders, probably. What makes this place different is the quality of their food. Every bite is a blast of flavor. The services is well also, but I like I said, this place is always crowed and parking sucks.

This place is one of my favorite places to get my sushi fix on. Unlike most other sushi restaurants, they don’t fill up their rolls with imitation crab meat. Instead most of the rolls have salmon, albacore and tuna inside and out. So lots of fresh fish and good flavor!!! Love, love, love this chain. My favorite is the autumn roll.

Rolls definitely the way to go here. Great, huge, delicious rolls and generous fish without the rice overload. Sushi itself is ok, too, but rolls all the way here for me. This place has consistently good quality food and service that keeps me coming back. Favorite local place in Fullerton!

I like this place because they give you generous slabs of fish and the sushi is bigger than most. The flavors though aren’t perfect. For example, the dragon roll is mostly crab meat and not a lot of unagi. Still, a solid lunch option.

First time here and i loved it. We got the 9 month old, himalayas, baked mussels, and chirashi bowl. It was like a buffet of food and everything was fairly priced. The chirashi bowl had a good amount of rice for all the sashimi you got. I liked the himalayas over the 9 month bc it had more texture(thanks cucumber) but both rolls were good nonetheless.

Food isn’t bad, it’s just not the best i’ve had. Came here with three other friends. Tip: bring your own soy sauce Theirs is about 20% soy sauce and the rest is water. Don’t even bother trying, quite the disappointment. The fish tastes fresh, pieces are larger than usual which is good. Their salmon roll is a great size actually. The food tasted a tad but bland. Small restaurant, nice atmosphere with lanterns and business card wall. I have yet to find a great sushi place in Fullerton):

So I dined in at Orange Sushi last weekend. I came in during dinner time on Saturday and the place was pretty busy. Honestly, looking at the reviews I didn’t expect anything special. My friend and I were seated within 6 minutes and our server got right to us. She took really good care of us, and we never really had to wait on her. Their rolls were actually really good and I would definitely come back. I ordered the roll combo and the price wasn’t bad at all. I would reccomend dining in here, or even to-going. However, if you to-go I think you have to order before a certain time(9:30??) Anways, I really enjoyed my stay here :-) bomb food, bomb service

Decent prices, i got the 24 piece sashimi plate thinking they would be thin pieces… They were not. The pieces were about ¼ of an inch thick and two inches long. Exceptionally sized. This would have been perfect for two people. I may not be as slim as i once was but I’m definitely not two people yet, so that was nice to find out The fish was fantastic though. All the light pieces were mild in flavor and soft. The darker pieces were full flavored and had a deep color to them. I saw on here people complaining about service but i neglected to see any faults with the service. The wait staff was attentive and courteous. Id say if you’re in a 10+ miles radius and want sushi this is a great spot.

Glad to have found such a yummy, AFFORDABLE sushi restaurant! Pleasant experience every time I come. Imagine walking in and being warmly greeted by friendly staff members«Welcome to Orange Sushi!» I fell in love immediately. Seated right away and ordered a bunch of rolls and appetizers ALL of which were really good(see pics for reference). MYFAVORITEMUSTTRY is their edamame that is tossed in garlic chili oil. I can’t seem to get enough. Huge portions and it’s only like…$ 3! Sashimi is served 5pcs per order and such thick slices. They are so very generous with all of their portions. The check came and I was expecting a huge bill, but… it was only $ 40 for about 3 people. What a great deal!!! Ate to our hearts content** **Private parking lot** **Friendly Staff** **Affordable Quality Sushi/Sashimi.** What more could you ask for?!! HIGHLYRECOMMEND for my Unilocalers!

PROS — 1. Great customer service! As soon as I walked in we were greeted and helped out right away. 2. I really enjoyed how well they paced themselves. They didn’t ask me too many times how we were doing, or what we wanted and etc. It was done discretely but kind and good enough for me to notice. 3. Picture menus. A lot of sushi places these days are lacking the picture menus, but they have them here. 4. Food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. It was packed, so you can’t expect like super fast service. 5. Not sure if this was supposed to happen, but I basically got a coke, on the house haha uhm not sure if it was their mistake but I like to just think of it as they gave it to me as a complimentary drink. 6. Young crowd of waitresses and waiters, but all of them were prompt and gave awesome service. CONS — 1. Small — so people are going there to enjoy themselves and take their sweet ass time, so if it’s packed, don’t blame the restaurant for not providing fast service. Blame the customers who like to loiter around and eat sushi very slow. 2. For me personally, I like my food coming out all at once. But out sushi plates came out at separate times. Thankfully, we were going to share anyways, but it’s kind of awkward if one person gets their food and the other doesn’t. But I do understand that they don’t want to hold on it and wait. There way is better for most customers, but my preference is to have it all at once.

A fast food Japanese restaurant establishment. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, the quality is still good! Salmon Teriyaki(7.95) — Teryaki sauce was a bit too salty for me. Salmon was fresh and hot. But the vegetables on the side was cold, as if they just took it out of frozen vegetables bag. The miso soup it came with was a bit on the salty side too, but not overbearing. Didn’t enjoy the salad. Chirashi Bowl(9.95) — The cheapest chirashi bowl you’ll ever find. Sashimi was solid. I mean for that price, you can’t expect more. Amber(8.95) — Shrimp, tempura, crabmeat, avocado, crunch mix It’s a spicy roll and has a bit of a sweetness too! The roll came out cold unfortunately. Fresh Water Eel Bowl(9.95) — The proportions of eel and rice was uneven. Too much rice, not enough eel. Banana Tempura Ice Cream(5.95) — The Green tea ice cream was really good. Tasted like a matcha green tea. I love banana but don’t really like fried bananas.
Other food pictures! Salmon(5 pcs)(7.95) Salmon Teryaki Bento Box(9.95) Chicken Udon(6.95) Spider Roll(8.95) — Softshell crab, crab meat, avocado, cucumber, fried onions Tempura Ice Cream(5.95) Green Tea Vanilla Salad Miso Soup Cheap prices and solid food = good deal for me.

I rate my restaurant reviews based on many things, of course taste being important, I judge on how clean a place is as well. Here at Orange Roll, as soon as you walk in you can see its clean and well tended to. The owners are friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in. It shows they care. Back to the food, I have only tried sushi maybe three times at the most in my life. I decided to stop by because of my new healthy eating and was craving something light. We got several rolls, my daughter helped me order. I believe we got Tuna Roll, Avocado roll and I don’t quite recall what the third one was. I tried the avocado roll and one of the tuna rolls. They were served very nicely, I felt bad digging in cause they were so cute to look at. They tasted just as good, very delicious… between 4 of us we shared three rolls and it was about 20 dollars for all 3. Priced right and tasted amazing. I will be back!

This is a lil spot in the shopping center with Stater Bros. There are some good food spots right by it so it can be easy to miss with other options. Had this place a couple of times and I was pleased. Now I only eat rolls that don’t have anything still moving on it, meaning raw, so I can only rate that part of it. I ordered a spider roll which had onion strips on top. It was very good and the roll pieces are fairly large. The soft shell crab was big and crunchy, one of my favs. I also had a classic California roll which was yummy! I like how the piece of avocado and cucumber are the right size. The place is cute and vibrant inside. The walls are orange and they have round lantern lights hanging over the tables. They have two small tables outside as well to eat. I did see a wall that had business cards from neighboring businesses stapled on a wall. I thought that was cool that they do some advertising for local spots. It’s close to work so I will definitely be back.
